Maybe we're all over thinking this. Let's break it down. "Spider two y Banana". Reverse it.

ananab y owt redips. "ananab" is a resort in the town of Rio de Janeiro.....and if u look on a map....the town looks almost identical to the state Of Tennessee in shape....and the resort grants a spectacular view of the Christ the Redeemer statue on a mountain top. Mountain top? Rocky Top? "Owt" can stand for "Ornamental wood ties"...meaning Grude intends to tie things up nicely in Knoxville. And finally..."Redips". Colonel Redips is a character in the Megaman X video games. Colonel is close to General...as in "General" Neyland.

And "y" is a spanish language conjunction. Take away the "con" and your left with "junction". An obvious clue he has some interest in Grand Junction Tennessee. Not sure why yet..but the evidence overall is clear. Chucky is coming home.

Just for discussion. Let’s say that Currie does have Gruden on the hook. What would be the benefit of making a fast move? I feel like it would put the university in a better situation if we let Gruden do all his work behind closed doors. All the while letting Butch take the heat and giving Currie more leverage on a negotiation for a buyout/resignation. Every game that butch stays in Knoxville is another blip on his resume, so in a sense if he plans to move on he might have to cut his loses which would benefit us. Maybe this is the approach we’ve taken, I haven’t lost faith and won’t until the fat lady sings. Just remember boys and gals were all family here and we all want what’s best for the team at the end of the day. Let’s not tear each other down. Go Vols and soon!

I don't disagree with you although I think our situation is better if Butch isn't left without any career options. I also assume that Gruden can't just cut and run from ESPN. It's not like they haven't got a dog in this hunt. I know they aren't in a position to get in a bidding war, but there really could be some contract language that keeps him from walking out mid-season.

I don’t think that would happen. At least hopefully not, mike deserves at least some privacy. I would say if gruden does in fact mention agr on MNF tonight there is some serious smoke to this.

How in the world will he work this into a pro game?
