What the hell did Currie or anyone with UTAD see "in the last 24 hours" to make them want to keep Butch?! That home loss didn't seal the deal for them? I am hoping LWS is way off here,but my goodness this is the opposite of everything we have been hearing.

There no way Currie is keeping butch. I don't care what anyone says. As a full butch supporter until GA, its over & everyone knows it. They can't afford to loose the $ from the donations by big boosters. It is just a matter of time

This is part of Currie's negotiating strategy for the buyout. He knows Butch wants out. Now he's pretending to want him to stay so he has the leverage re the buyout. You know, "I really don't want you to leave, but if you insist it's going to cost you." That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think he is a good coach, but I don’t think he would be a slam dunk like a lot of people. He hasn’t coach any team in many years and the game seems to have left many great coaches behind. Maybe he would be different, but he ain’t Belachek (sp). Like you said, he won with Brad Johnson, that to me shows you how differently the game is played now. And he did basically win the super bowl by beating his offense with Dungy’s defense.

i just want to see a UT coach actually develop players again. Ill start there and see where it takes us.

So that’s where everyone was today. I played the Pat Summitt tourney today. No one for UT was there that I saw.

I think it's fair to say we currently have the best staff in Knox county.
