nothing on CBJ being gone and it is too early for any real action on a replacement. I still don't believe he is back next year but the last 24 hours there is some talk that Currie really would prefer not to have to do it this year. I think he would have a difficult time selling that line of thinking but that chatter has been out there..

Listened to Ainge on 104.5 today. He confirmed what I've been saying about our run game be shut down by defenses with 6 men in the box by slanting to the play side. We have 6 to block 6 and can't get it done. Part of its missed assignments and confusion on who to block and part of it is the fact that the defense doesn't have to hesitate at ALL and the backside DE is crashing so hard he makes the tackle from behind because there is nothing to keep them honest. Absolutely ridiculous for this to be happening.

I dont get why everyone thinks Gruden would be such a good coach at TN. I remember him having good quarterback play, winning a Super Bowl with Dungys team, then loosing the locker room almost immediately afterwards until his team basically laying down on him 2 years later. And I dont think Chip Kelly would last 2 years at TN before leaving. Plus I think his offense has had its day in the spotlight and now is just another offense that dcs have learned to defend as well as everything else

Absolutely. But there's a big difference between not pleasing all the fans and having half of them in pre hate mode for no real reason.
And I know all fan bases have idiots but my God we have some vocal ones.
If people like the Twitter brigade go all in on the Gruden thing, it'll be just constant moaning and groaning from day one with anyone else.
Read that quote again. Currie would prefer not to have to do it this year.
Yeah we would prefer he didn't have to do it. Hell I prefer to watch a game and expect to win. I prefer to play in the SECCG for once.
We all prefer this didn't have to happen BUT...
