I highly doubt John Currie has begun contacting any coach anywhere. He has a football coach and it would be highly unethical for him to be talking to coaches who were employed at other institutions. His name would be mud all over the college football landscape.

Do not believe this is happening.

Below that

The key part of that is “coaches who were employed at other institutions.” Well guess who isn’t employed at another institution....

I honesty think that Currie is going to drag along Butch as long as he can. Just let him embarrass himself these next 2 away games, fire him after losing to Kentucky and at the same time announce the next coach.

In my opinion this could salvage the season from an excitement standpoint and still fill the stands if it’s a big time hire. I would love to be in Knoxville the first weekend of a home game knowing Gruden or some other big dog is our next coach.

I'm sure he would prefer not to have to fire a coach in his first year. He would also prefer to have a coach that wins games and not one that has the worst loss in Neyland Stadium history and is currently 0-3 about to be 0-4 in the SEC. JMO

Below that. He just said there’s a rumor he didn’t wanna have to this year, not that he wouldn’t. Idk, it just discouraged me.

I'm sure Currie hoped that he would never have to fire Butch when he took the job. Things have changed since then with the program.

I ain't shook.

That's a kingair and a decent size plane. It's a turbo prop and pressurized. It's pretty dang fast too. Very popular business plane.

Been on many privet jets and kingairs(tho not as many), but can tell you they are nice. The kingair is for sure popular among business men in the area.

My comment adds nothing, but carry on
