i'd be happy with news of Gruden leaving ESPN.

3 weeks from tonight ..“Sean I wanted to takes this opportunity to thank you for our albeit short time together and for all the years here on one of the greatest American institutions , MNF. But I am going to be moving on at the end of this season to become the next head coach of the University of Tennessee . “

Urban to Ohio St was seen as a definite possibility. Harbaugh to Michigan was laughed at by pretty much every national NFL guy, including UM alum Adam Schefter, and almost all local Michigan beat writers, radio hosts, and sports columnists. Even after it was announced that Harbaugh and the 49ers were parting ways, very few people thought he would leave the NFL to go back to college. John U Bacon was pretty much the only Michigan insider who thought Harbaugh was a possibility.

I certainly thought it was a legit possibility after he got fired from the 49ers. I don't see why anyone would have thought otherwise.

Now when he was at Stanford, I did expect him to go to the NFL. But I don't see why anyone would have been shocked he was going to Michigan after leaving San Francisco.

No no no. This is from one of Jon's guests.

I dunno who's a troll and who isn't just hear to read info and have a good time. If you got something solid, lay your nuts on the table and let us know what you got. In the end freak can drop the hammer on'em if you were lying.

Who in their right mind would ever claim that Ron-Jovi is a troll?

Well aside from you, there is a contingent of folks who I don't care for that are monitoring this thread. They didn't like my "nuggets" before, so you guys are getting them now. FTR this is from a brand new source, although it is important to know that my sources cycle every 3-4 years...

Just wanted to get a post in the legendary Gruden thread. Somebody give me a percentage chance that Jon Gruden is our next head coach. Realistically.
