$100 A Barrel Oil is on the Way

My theory is that all of the Liberal Elite Uber-rich types are pouring capital into this speculative oil bubble and are intentionally keeping the price high to help ensure an Obama victory come election time. Even a couple of the big oil CEOs are helping out.

Prove me wrong, I dare ya.

... I'll do you one better and say it's also the rich enviromentalists who are trying to make gas guzzlers such as the Hummer a dying breed and trying to force everyone to be more "green".

I'm about to be called "idiotic"... any moment now.

Interesting...

George Soros would FOR SURE be a possibility

Bush needs to counter and release 100 million barels from the SPR and all would be good

I can't imagine that your described crowd wouldn't be a subset of my crowd.

This was posted somewhere else, but I thought it was more important to this thread

snopes.com: A Tale of Two Houses

Also I am still investigating this wind turbine thing and seeing if its actually feasible

Bush's house sounds pretty sweet! I think that heat pumps are very interesting....

...though it's only the heat side of heat pumps, I think that geothermal energy bears a lot of untapped potential.

maybe the oil price is high because we aren't allowing people to drill where the largest oil reserves are? call it a crazy theory of mine. . .

I say we drill in Gore's back yard. Eminent Domain could be useful here!

25000 Gallons of rain water storage...blows my two 55 gallon coke-cola drums that smell like poweraide and sprite out of the... rainwater

and yes I heard McCain is aginst drilling in ANWOR, but I think that would change quickly once elected

How could Obama use it against him after he were elected?

I don't know why he is against it, I can't find any reasoning in it.

What I mean is if McCain was for drilling in ANWOR now, Obama would say he is pandering to the Oil Companies, and Obama would use it as amo against McCain saying "McCain is for helping the oil companies and destroying our last Frontier, not helping the middle class" or something along those lines. Once elected to office, McCain would then "reluctantly" change his mind. Does that make any sense?

I think not being for drilling in ANWAR is pandering to environmentalists. McCain should plaster it in the media that he is for drilling in ANWAR and I think he would get a boost in the polls. But I guess he really isn't for it, whether he is elected or not.

The way I see it is if he is pro drilling offshore, then why wouldnt he be for drilling in ANWOR. He deflects the envirmental backlash issue by leaving it up to the states, which would for sure drill due to the huge possibility of revenues.

I guess cause he views ANWAR in the same manner...

So, did I miss an inside joke, or do you each have your own unique acronym for ANWR?
