He also won a Super Bowl with Brad Johnson at QB. Also put the pieces together for Rich Gannon to reach the Super Bowl.

They seem to overlook that he hasn't coached at all in 10 years. Has never coached on the collegiate level. Was only a better than average NFL head coach and has a career record of (95-81) and a post season record of (5-4).

If you took that record (95-81) (5-4) without any name attached to it there is no way anyone would seriously consider/want them to be the next coach of the Vols.

Man just let him go. I really think he is Rex Kwon do. He obviously uses this site for validation and friendships and needs to be right and heard. So pups, we all offer you a virtual hug and want you to know we accept you just the way you are: tighty whities and all.

There is a difference in asking tough questions and breaking news of the head coach being fired halfway through the season at the start of Alabama week.

If the University doesn't want that info to get out, it isn't getting out. Any reporter who broke that in Knoxville would have to find work reporting on another football team. It's just how they do things in Knoxville. Trust me, I went to the school as journalism major. I know just about everything there is to know about reporting on sports in that city.

i got off this thread for a few hours. came back and jumped in at the wrong spot with everyone talking about butch being fired and it announced tomorrow. then i had to get context to discover it was just trolling.

my adrenaline crash is causing me pain.

When I have info that I feel like I can post, I do. I won't post this. I believe 100% in the authenticity of this person. If I was looking for ecred (which I never have), then I would come out and say it.

However, there is something called integrity. I will not make public what someone else's source says. That person has a VN account and if they so choose, they can post the specific info.

It wasn't trolling, people just jumped to the wrong conclusion. It happens. DTO really did get some sort of really good news it seems.

There is only one person trolling here.
