If you exclude the GT game from our defense. We are #95 in rushing allowed, #2 in passing allowed, #22 in Total yards allowed and #33 in Points allowed. All that is per game

It'll be very interesting to see Brent Hubbs' first official hotboard when the change is made. There are always 1 or 2 on there no one else thinks is a candidate. I'm very eager to see it.

I believe they're working behind the scenes to try and get an agreement with Gruden. Personally I don't think he takes the job. My guess is after Gruden declines the target changes to a Tier 1 group of Gundy, Patterson and Mullen. If those guys turn us down it's really anyone's guess regarding who would be the first target of Frost, Brohm, Wilson, etc. My guess is the order in which I posted them.

Here is a thought. Guy has recruited to his school players to sign early. Then he leaves two weeks before to another school and they are not completely hung out to dry since they don't have to sign early. But, will be scrambling if they don't like the new hire by the school which could take some time as well. A coach may not want to make the switch and put someone who has been good to him in a bad place. Almost means you get a guy a school does not want or you have to get the up and comer guy if you don't get a coach that doesn't presently have a job. Maybe this early signing period is not such a good idea.

It's such a tough thing to do. I just don't think a current head coach is going to leave his team with a couple weeks left in the regular season. Maybe if we hire a coordinator they would leave.

Lol maybe calling him some names will make you feel better. It's been a LONG dozen or so years of crap that's for sure. I've even turned nega this year. Just trying to focus on other things and not let UT football ruin my day.

It would be a dream scenario if we could somehow get Gruden in here. Heck maybe he's tired of working for ESPN. If he were to ever take a college job I do think it'd be Tennessee. I have to think we'll get somebody better than Jones but man it's going to be tough if we get another google his name coach.

Reading on twitter earlier, Nebraska just hired Washington states AD. The article claimed he and Leach were thicker than thieves. Be interesting to see if he brings Leach with him. Just something to watch for the Frost fans!

Reminds me of Cutcliffe. He was our OC during the national championship of 98/99. But he was hired as HC at OM in early December so left before the NC game. I believe he had already left before the SEC Championship game also.

Maybe Shoop. I'm about convinced that his defense has been a product of Jones trying to coordinate it with him, don't know for sure obviously though. I want the new coach to hire who he wants, fire who he wants, and be given enough money to hire a top staff at all times.
