And he isn’t ready yet. It won’t be today, tomorrow, this week or next week.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment.

I'd be shocked if Butch coached another game after Bama. Wouldn't make sense to keep him after then.

So how is this for a Gruden proposal? It could go for Kelly, or Patterson as well. It would cost our season ticket holder exactly $100 for each package of tickets on a yearly basis. So if you bought 8 season tickets seats for all home games your donation would increase by a total of $800/year. (The Saban/Bama numbers are accurate according to reports on his last contract extension). We are currently spending between 9 and 10 million/year in salaries for our Head coach and his 10 assistants including the strength coach. I should point out that the athletic department reported a profit of I think around $12m for the last available report and of course that comes from football. We only need about half of that to make this work without asking our fans for more.

It was a friendship but I don't appreciate being told I seriously wished death on anyone even by a friend. Maybe it's just me but I have had several bad thoughts cross my mind. If I offended you, I apoligize. However, I thought you were tougher mentally than that.

I think you're right. Maybe not as direct wording as this, but I think you're really onto what's happening.
