I think they are weeding out the players that they have “lost” thus the steady stream of injuries, etc.

I also think the only way to have the fans on board with a huge amount of enthusiasm is to name a big name, well established coach. Remember, the casual fan doesn't know coaches like Frost, Venables, and Brohm.

If we were to pull a top guy like a Gruden, Patterson or Kelly I would put twice as much money into this program than I currently do on a yearly basis. I'm buying memorabilia and tickets to go see the vols play left and right, because I'll have hope and excitement once again. If they hire a Satterfield type, I won't. Pretty simple. I just hope more people will be that way.

Not wishing death on anyone but if you tell me I get to 87 with relative good health till that point then I would take it and so would most under 80. Put me on ignore. Don't really care. You have been an azz hat plenty of times.

I don't know if this is related, but where is Byrd? if he's not "Lost",maybe a position change is in order.

I don't think he's lost everyone, but may have lost a significant portion. Could explain some players getting playing time over others despite better on the field production.

But UCLA, school on that top 30 academic research list a few pages back is willing to turn over the reigns and take a chance on him?!?!? Pretty stupid on the part of UT admin if that's the case.

John Currie is not going to fire Butch until he is good and ready.

And he isn’t ready yet. It won’t be today, tomorrow, this week or next week.

You are setting yourself up for disappointment.

I'm not saying that Butch shouldn't be let go, but I disagree with the notion that the team is mailing it in on Butch. You can't convince me that this is a 2012 Kentucky game situation.

And I'm not saying everyone has quit, but it may explain why some players aren't seeing the field.

Amen. We as fans know less than 1% of the available information on this stuff. I believe 100% he will be fired and fired before November. I would totally take it today, but folks acting like today and next week are massively different are being a little impatient. JMO
