I'm going to stream of consciousness type out all the red flags from his hire date to now:

1. Drae Bowles situation

2. The Mack Crowder punch

3. Taking 12 WRs every class.

4. The Jalen Hurd fiasco

5. "Don't believe in halftime adjustments"

6. Various clock management issues

7. Taking weirdo timeouts when the opposing offense is about to get a delay of game

8. Orlando Brown recruitment

9. Champions of life

10. 5* hearts

11. Leadership reps

12. So many transfers

13. Starting Worley over Dobbs and Peterman for so long

14. No QB coach for 2 seasons

15. Hiring an OC with zero experience calling plays in college

16. Hiring an OC who was previously cleaning pools (this actually worked out but could it have been even better?)

17. Saying "ah f--- em" about the fans in a game

18. "Some of the best teams we've had around here in 20 years"

Any more I'm forgetting? There are hundreds of in-game decisions I could add.

I remember driving back mid-morning and hearing talk about it on the radio. Maybe the talking heads announced it and the presser happened in the afternoon?

I know we had a Afternoon presser but I Can't remember when it was announced. I though 10-11 A.M

I knew it was being discussed that night though

What was that figure the other day where UT was number one on top grossing in a years time of college teams?

132 million ?

F Haslam keeps his dang money...spend the 132 million u gross every year to buy a dam coach

I was around in 2012 where there was so much information you didn’t know who to believe.

This seems to be the opposite. There’s such a lack of information, that you can’t believe anything out there.

I’m sure stuff guys like SBV say is accurate based on the information they have. The “good list” info I’m sure is true, at least from who boosters think would be good. But like we saw last time, those sources are only as good as the final decision. There’s literally nothing coming from the AD. Unless you count the Hubbs burner account post last night.

I think we can beat Kentucky with an interim coach.

I’m convinced our offense isn’t as bad as it looks. Not world beaters but I think Butch has tightened the reigns on them because he’s coaching scared. That has been his MO in critical games the whole time he’s been here.

An interim guy with nothing to lose would open it up more in my opinion and we’d see a somewhat competitive offense. These guys have too much talent to be playing this poorly.

I always figured if Butch went down it would be just like Dooley but it is different. Oddly the fans have turned on Butch much more quickly than Dooley in his final year. There were a lot of us (me included) that were defending Dooley up until the Mizzou game. But I think most turned after Florida this year. I guess that’s partly because we’ve been through this a few times now and you can sense better when it is over. Plus Butch is in year 5 and the Florida game confirmed a lot of worrying trends about his coaching that you previously could never tell for sure if it was coaching or talent/depth. Anyway. Strange times.

The silence is deafening.

I feel bad for giving Dobbs so much crap. He was literally a one man show.

This isn’t a knock on you but anybody who was lvery critical of Dobbs simply was not paying attention to the LOS.

He made this crap offense with terrible O Line coaching look prolific. Easily top 3 QB in our history. We all have to get over every QB passing like or being the next Peyton - it’s unfair.

Yesterday was a microcausm of our time with Butch. Decent offensive and defensive game plan, limited adjustments, offense sputters in second half, defense wears down, offense can’t finish. There were a few exceptions but a general theme.

If I remember correctly I think maybe Price or Rob Lewis was writing a story about how it was another candidate set to be introduced when the Vitello news broke.

The South Alabama coach. You'd know better than I, but I didn't think that info was wrong. Just that he backed out at the last minute and Currie went to Vitello.

I don't think I buy the big Jim stuff. I do, however, believe (just from reading, not from any inside info, as I have none) the boosters at Tennessee are splintered in their opinions on almost everything.

Which may explain BB's wife's frustration posting. Sounded like BB let them have it because of their stupidity.

Yep, the Florida game turned me. I believe it’s a whole lot harder to get past 8-9 wins than people think. 10 wins a season year in and year doesn’t exist except for very few places. Tennessee is one IF you have the right guy. But the RIGHT guy is all about timing of the transition. I think the time is right.. but it took the Florida game for me to get there.

But has squandered so many big win opportunities. We all rooted for him so much. We wanted to believe so bad. And just when we would finally get there.. loss to Vandy. Blown 14 point lead.

Anyway.. everyone knows the story.

The silence is crazy. It must be how Currie operates.. which I like. Just not what we’re used to, and none of us are sure whether to trust that things are being done right or not.. because we’re not used to that either.

Freak doesn't have enough server space at this point to list it all.
