I don't question his integrity but I do question his reasoning for choosing to work for someone who tried to discredit a Vietnam POW. Mattis seems like a pretty good person, very intelligent...I am sure he would do what is right for this country over what is right for the President

MCCain discredited himself over a decade ago and I’d venture to guess Mattis knows more about McCains record than we do.

Politicians can be self serving and deceptive. The press exists as a fourth estate to protect the public. If the president is lying they should be investigating and say so. The press’ only agenda should be to keep the government honest and the people informed.

I expect politicians to lie and I expect the press to expose their lies. I shouldn't expect the press to lie.

Fake news is literally what it sounds like. There are internet sites creating fake news stories and then reposting them through fake social media accounts hoping that bigger news companies like cnn and foxnews cover them. CNN10 did a really good special on them last week. Apparently, there's like a whole fake news industry based out of macedonia.

Entitlement has stripped the thought of obligations being attached to rights. The new translation is that while the press have the right to go places we can't, see what we can't, and hear what we can't, they have no obligation to report any of that objectively even though they supposedly serve as our conduit to the truth.

Why he wasn't willing to obstruct justice for the president? You realize Trump could be indicted for obstruction of justice? Trump is a freakin' moron and completely corrupt--a disgrace to the presidency.

The only people engaged in peddling fake information are the Russians, right-wing websites and Trump. Period.

Trump is STUPID and CORRUPT and SINISTER. He lies and he says stupid things--and his stupid comments and lies--whether made publicly or privately--get reported. Did you see him on TV yesterday claiming that the rise in the stock market had lowered our national debt? Just another idiotic comment from our leader--as the stock market has no relation to national debt. He doesn't like being shown to be dishonest and stupid--but he can't help himself--and so his only way to save face is to keep pulling out the "fake news" line. I'm sure a lot of rural folk believe him, but not anyone who has a grasp on reality.
