Sure but a season ticket holder is the best kind of boycott.

It is the only way to guarantee your voice is heard and those seats remain empty for the game.

Duh. A regular guy who thought about maybe buying tickets from a scalper, well thats not as bold of a protest. That does little to rid the program of Butch Jones. Some other vol fan can scoop up the tickets "real, real cheap".

But season ticket holders have that power. If he donates them, as you suggest, he is silencing his only voice and ability to make change.

Its also impossible to call them "not true vol fans". They have the moral high ground on this. Sorry if people dont like that.

Have you ever been to a game? Do you know what a special opportunity it is to see a game at Neyland Stadium? There’s a helluva lot more that goes into a football game at Neyland Stadium than 120 yards and 60 minutes. If you’ve been to a game, you would know that.

Kind of like going to a game at Cameron Indoor Stadium which is across from Card Gymnasium.😉

I have no problem with that.

I was on the fence about Jones after SCar loss last year. Vandy loss decided it for me.

Absolutely nothing I've seen this year to change my mind.

Went to first half of Indiana State - watched the rest on TV during dinner.

I just don't have a good time watching Tennessee play lousy football. As such I'm selling my tickets until Jones is fired.

Getting blown out 41-0 isn't fun IMO.

I'm not announcing that I'm boycotting. As stated, I never planned to go in the first place. I'm telling other people that it'd be a good idea. Look, by all means if you have tickets I understand not wanting them to go to "waste". You bought it, go to it if that's what you want to do. But I do want empty seats to send a message. That's all I'm saying.

You know what else is important? Cleats. Can't have the guys slipping and sliding everywhere, they get hurt. Helmets too, very important. Oh, and running backs, they really make a difference.

Surprising how much of that stuff is important. Okay, maybe not the trash can but pretty much everything else.
