The Official Tennessee vs. #7 Georgia Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

The new QB coach, at least at this point, certainly looks to have failed in improving our QB play. There's also blame to go around for the O-line and especially recieevers that can't seem to get open ... oh, and play calling.

I wonder if the coaching staff in general has also failed in evaluating the two QBs. If JG comes in and plays well, that indicates that their assessment that QD was the best chance to win was wrong.

Either way, let's look for a better second half. QD does tend to play better later - well, last week he never really got going at all, but maybe ...

I think we got five or six billionaires at least supporting the school. I think a couple million a piece would be something they would not miss.

What?

It should have been obvious in the spring that we don't have a QB who can consistently run the Botchfense.

At which time, someone has to make some big $4M decisions and simplify the offense or build it around the talent you do have.

That is where the real issue is. Can't blame the "gameday" coaching here. 3 turnovers would cause anyone in our league to be in a big hole against this Top 10 team. But, lack of anybody at all prepared to play QB on this team is on coaches.

Remember 2 months ago when we had 2 awesome QBs 🤔. Never trust preseason evaluations again.

I have said the same thing repeatedly. Anyone and everyone of note, turn the job down. Butch was the only one who would take it. I've said it many times over.

That is bull! We could have gotten Gruden if the AD would have agreed to pay him more. You get what you pay for so we are stuck with Jone for a while.

Throw the bank at Chip Kelly then keep butch on till the deal is done to preserve our recruiting class
