It's sad you have been in this thread for like 4 hours straight from your original post till now. Lmao your name is on every page.Real question do you have a job or are you some old ass retired guy who thinks his opinion matters than others on this board and is convinced he is a insider lmao
Yep...at my desk right now. I've been in a lot of threads. This bother you too?
What opinion have I stated is more important than anyone else's, and more importantly why do you care? As far as I can tell your cage has not been rattled by me. Or do you have something poignant to add to the discussion at hand? Do you feel left out?
Basically walked out and quit as has Jennings but TKSr wasn't going for it and went to CBJ and other VFLs are trying to help figure this mess on the hill. We shall see Saturday. The kids are tired of the injury lies and coach speak as much as fans.
I know your right and I know bad things are going on. A real good childhood friend of mine who I grew up with is the mother of one ex player OL who basically didn't come back this year to play. She says she really liked Butch at first until she found out what kind of person he was and that's all she will say for now. She says she will remain quite until he is gone which she is hoping soon to save the program but lots of our players aren't happy right now and there is lots of stuff going on right now.

We agreed right up until the last sentence.
There are those of us living in Knoxville that have neighbors, church members, people in our circle if friends that are connected in many ways to what is going on in the AD. And they talk. It's way more widespread than you may think how many 1 and 2 degree of separation relationships there are in this town. It's not a big place.
I honestly have no clue if any of this is true. But if you watched the UMASS game objectively, then your eyes should have shown you something is off. I am not saying its anything serious, but something was not right about that game.
We have seen some sloppy, uninterested Butch Jones teams but against UMASS, it was on a whole other level. I hope its nothing serious, but there seems to be enough smoke to at least say there is a little fire here.
So someone posts and opinion with no proof and I ask for a link to back it up. But you tell me I should shut up because said opinion matches your narrative. You idiots are better than a comedy club!
Lmfao!lol:
Because we are sick of this coach and his BS and his cult like followers.
Hurd wasn't a good zone runner. He was a gap runner, which isn't a big part of butches offense.
Basically a broken record of a talented player that wasn't fully utilized while here.
Why? The things that set UT back following Fulmer are that he left the roster in a mess and then Kiffin screwed UT. Dooley was a bad hire but a product of both of those things. Fulmer deserved to be fired.... earlier. The evidence goes all the way to the drop off in offense following Cuts departure. He lost control of the team and didn't manage the staff well at all. He got more time because of what he had done for UT. That's understandable... but it gave him two more years in which he did not recruit very well. The lines were particularly bad when Kiffin took over... and got worse as Dooley took over then didn't fix them.
So you have bad coaching hires following a coach that ran the roster into the ground.
Right now... UT has a very good roster. That makes UT more attractive to better coaches and gives them a better chance of succeeding. That will NOT be the case if Jones is retained long enough for the roster to go bad again.
If he can't turn around, there won't be a more ideal time to bring a new coach into UT than this year.
de1conley apparently has some direct and indirect sources not only to the program but to the team. If there was a problem and it got resolved... why would that be unbelievable? None of the stuff you pointed to proves that what the OP said was untrue. Maybe TKjr is reflecting on the "good" after dealing with some "bad".
The issue is whether there is a systemic problem as might be suggested by linking several things together or if this is just "one of those things".
Good point. Another question would be why CBJ would recruit a player who doesn't fit his offense and play him over AK ( until JH left the team). I would hope a creative coach would find a way to make use of a good player even if it meant making some changes to the offense. Rigidity is not always a positive trait.
