Agree. My husband was offered tickets but said he didn't think he wanted to go. I told him if he went, he would be representing some of our sane fanebase. It would keep those tickets out of Georgia fans' hands, plus he's not a boo'er.

With the current state of the program, 'checker Neyland' is a bad idea IMO. Sincerely hope it works out.

While I agree about him stirring up things, your last comment about Gruden was told to me by a very respected poster in this forum. Maybe not in those type of words, but the indication was that the interest was very legit. FWIW

In this particular case I had information that matched up from both sides of this particular process. The Tennessee side and the ESPN side. I'm real confident Coach Gruden was never serious about the University of Tennessee coaching job.

Haslam let that process (Gruden) run for a while and let some UT boosters have fun with it BUT there was no way Haslam was going to allow him to be the head coach. He couldn't be trusted and some of the things he wanted would have led directly to sanctions.

He's probably right. Was just saying that there are respected posters with connections to boosters, who said the interest was legit. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. We won't really ever know the truth, and it honestly doesn't matter.

I think that is why if butch lied it's ok. In fact It sure sounded like he was saying just that
