Wow, broken arm? Well in that case it was a pretty darn good fight.

Ovince Saint Preux Fought Jon Jones with a Broken Arm at UFC 197 | MMAWeekly.com

Crazy.

As further information develops, we may learn that Saint Preux was actually injured even before what White reported, as the fighter himself said his arm started hurting even earlier in the fight.

“(Jones) kept a fast pace and really picked it up in the fourth round, and in the second round he hit my arm with a high kick that has my arm hurting right now,” Saint Preux said in his post-fight interview with Joe Rogan in the Octagon.

Whether the break occurred in the second round or sometime thereafter does nothing to reduce the toughness that Saint Preux showed in going five rounds with Jones.

I bootlegged it. The fight was an absolute snooze fest.

UFC seems to be obsessed with filling the card and undercard up with as many fights as possible during these pay per views with fighters that nobody cares about. Then, when the main event rolls around you realize you've spent your money watching two rich guys get tired in the 2nd round. They're gonna get paid no matter what and they know it.

I think they should limit the number of fights on the card during the PPV's (12:30am start time for the main is ridiculous) and line the fights up more strategically. There is no reason why the big draws need 8-12 months in between fights in some cases.

Line the cards up, less quantity, more quality. No way I would pay to watch the fights that I saw last night.

Give me a break. There were 3 champions on the main card and an undefeated olympic wrestler. They had to find a replacement fighter for the main event and it was still a good card, it just didn't play out well.

Lol @ "2 rich guys"...who are you talking about?

Can I borrow your time machine? I dont follow this stuff every day.

Sorry, like I said, I wasn't trying to be a prick. I guess I could've found a better way to word things, but I was mostly trying to allude to just how big of an underdog OSP was. It turned out to be a moot point anyway. Once I finish my time machine, though, I'll let you borrow it to go back and not make the bet. ;)

OSP is a cool dude. When he was getting started I was really active on the mma scene in Georgia. He knocked out one of my friends from another gym from Valdosta. This had to be straight out of college for him. Fought out of Knoxville though. Came up to him after the fights because he was carrying around a Tennessee flag. Had like a twenty minute conversation with him. He’s a bad dude.
