Where there's smoke there's fire?

I never judged your opinions, genius.

I told you your actions were a bad look. They're still a bad look. But carry on.

Soooooo, just how many posts does one need to have in order to be entitled to an opinion, somewhere north of 13,000? Bet you are a joy to be married to. Hey, your phone is ringing; it's Copernicus calling to tell that you are NOT the center of the universe!

I'll repeat myself since you seem to have just scanned my initial post too. I didn't judge his opinion. I didn't claim he couldn't have an opinion. I said that it's a bad look for a newb to show up and invite a long time and valued poster here to leave.

Both of you... Post often. Become valued members. Have whatever opinions you like, and disagree as often as you like. It'll just do you well to show a modicum of decorum.

clemson has alabama level talent. and lots of experience. I believe Venables is an outstanding coach but he wowuld struggle with our talent unless he brings recruiters with him

So basically what you are saying is our entire coaching staff is weak? Fantastic.

no what I'm saying is that the talent at Alabama and Clemson make great coaches look even greater. Those same coaches would struggle with a lot less talent (like Tennessee has) then what they have now. Tennessee talent is a long, long way from matching up with those two programs.. as are most programs

I respect Peyton as much as anyone but he didn't build this program from nothing. He's not our Larry Bird. This was a great program long before he was conceived. When this becomes the University of Peyton Manning, I'm out

A leopard can't hide its spots. And LittleBoyLyle can't hide how over his head he is in game (mis)management.

But, Tennessee only plays one of those programs. In the remaining 11 games, Tennessee is not vastly outmatched. I would say they are equal (or at least close) to or better in those games.

You build the program by kicking arse in those games, which leads to better recruiting, which leads to overtaking the top dog.

Dabo didn't catch Florida State in one season. It took him many.

The post was supposedly a fake, Peyton never has nor do I think he ever will be anything but publicly supportive. Behind the scenes he may be different but we will never know

Great idea if Butch were to leave/get fired at end of season... lets hire Steve Spurrier to take his place.... what better way to say FU to UF!!

What's that gonna prove....doing good things against 0-4 UMass ? Throw him in the 1st-3rd series against UGA and he'll run and hide under or behind the bench. QD likely is gonna have a hard time against Dawgs. OL needs to stay in that weight room and running those sprints. S&C on LOS separates the men from the boys in big time ball. Stone cold fact.
None of that drivel is fact.

Well, if that is true then why would anyone want Butch here? His strength is supposedly recruiting, but if he isn't getting recruits that can play with the best, he sure isn't going to coach up lesser talent.

You can call them mediocre or you could give credit to our team. We know which way you'd rather choose.

Has nothing to do with choosing anything.

UT actually dragged that average down.

FSU by 18
Arky by 21
Bama by 38 (and that could have been whatever Bama wanted)

I don't feel the need to make them better than they were. It shouldnt make me feel better about the win or Jones.

I will give you this, the team we just lost to is worse than that one. Maybe that helps?

Dobbs wasn't ready either. But, what do you know...as he got playing time he got better. Will wonders never cease. CBJ making excuses for poor player development again.

You dont have to convince me that CBJ isnt a good coach. But if we have a 4 star QB that cant go in a game and hand the ball to the best player on the field, our issues are bigger than any of us know.

FSU and Arky were both away games. And Alabama is Alabama.

They also put that talent on the field! No excuse for Bituli and Byrd being wasted by our A$$hats.
