He's got the players on the bench to win big. He's DUMB....

This team is made for a young QB. Good OL and skill players. This game could be very easy for our offense. Defense would be fine with Ignont, Bituli and Sapp currently. Wiggins and Byrd at CB with Gaulden/Warrior at safety on the backend of the defense. DUMB coaching period....
Yeah man I agree . I have no clue what this guy is doing. I get sick every time I see the ginger on the field and Byrd as a blocking wr. Its a joke

I've gotten to the point where I want JG to play over QD. Simply put, it's a no-brainer since UT is not going to adapt the offense to QDs strengths. Let JG run with it, I just hope he doesn't get hurt. Btw, although in the right offense, I would still go with QD over JG, right now in this moment in their careers, but this is not the right offense. So in other words BB, u were right, imo.

I wouldn't go with him in a pro style if I were you. He's throwing off his backfoot. So what kind of passer do you expect him to be? He won't stand in the pocket and hang tough.

A lot of guys with big arms throw off their back foot, Rogers and Brady come to mind, just not all the time. But, I agree he doesn't step into his throws and/or the pocket. I already said u were right, what else do u want?

No I'm saying even in a pro style system I wouldn't start him. He's just not a good QB period. IMO

Please translate what this means for me

Someone high up on the food chain may have asked to take it down

Has there ever been a situation in CFB where a coach was "helped" into a lesser position by his current employer?

I mean, it sure would be nice if Butch and Currie worked out some mutual agreement where they told some G5 or lower-tier P5 school that they could hire him with no buyout. That would make him a far more enticing hire to interested schools, he could save face and keep coaching, and we wouldn't have to pay any money to fire him.

The question is whether any P5 schools want him and whether he would be too prideful to step back into the G5 ranks. And also of course whether that scenario is even remotely realistic.

I didn't see that JAV post so IDK if it's real or not. But players tell other players they're going to leave all the time. Most of the time, coaches calm them down and it all blows over.

Worley wasn't that bad as a senior. If he'd had this OL, WR, and RB to work with he'd do ok IMO.

His OL was terrible for real as a senior. He was getting killed. He never had a running game like this either. He wasn't good but he's better than the current guy. Dormady taking that CB blitz from Tabor from his front side and fumbling kinda was horrid and blew that Florida game too. Smh lol

The more I think about it, I don't believe you NEED a mobile QB in this system it's ideal no doubt. The problem is the non mobile QB needs to be able to throw the ball and QD isn't very good at that.

Worley wasn't horrible but that O-Line he played behind was, if we had Worley on Saturday we win.

I'm not defending anything. The SEC East is pathetic. He could very well win it. Yesterday was the worst coaching performance he's had at UT but if he wins against Georgia I believe we have a great chance to win the division. Still too much time and games to play to determine his future IMO.

I know y'all hate him. I get it. No way he gets fired if we win.

East division champs = Butch as your coach with an extension. That's how he stays.

No way do I hate Butch Jones. He brought us back from football hell. I wanted him to succeed. I love his recruiting, but there are obvious problems.

He makes the same coaching mistakes over and over again. Doesn't matter who the replacement is--and that has to be on him.

We don't ever blow anyone out except the "Hawaii school of the blind" type teams. Otherwise we as fans are always ready for a nervous breakdown when it gets near the end of the game. VOLS are too exciting. It shouldn't always be this way.

He is a GREAT recruiter, but doesn't make the best choices on who should be playing and where. Evan Berry, Byrd, Our quarterbacks, Kamara, Kelly, etc. I don't know if he rewards good practice technique or what, but he needs the best players in the position that suits them best.

Way too many injuries. Something is way off there. Does this happen to any other team or am I being hyper sensitive?

Anyway, I watched his show and he said all the right things. He took blame, didn't throw anyone under the bus and said he will fix it. I am rooting for him to suddenly have a light bulb come on. We will see.
