To be a successful football team, everybody's got to be on the same page. Doesn't sound like they are using the same book.

Chief, I'm 100% on the go another direction with coaching now. I gave u 10 kinds of **** last week but I thought we were gonna win and we should have, any decent coach would have won. Hell imagine how good we'd be if we had mason...I just threw up saying that

It's all good brother. We all are starving for a winner at the end of the day. And I actually think I might take Mason over Butch tbh. Crazy to think about.

OK, if it's out there, it's out there. I have heard that we have four players who have threatened to transfer. JG told some players after GT that he was leaving. He's made it known that he's not going to sit behind QD two years. Two players threatened to leave last night; another one threatened to leave today. I think one of them may have cleaned out his locker. All of it is 100% unnecessary. Our coaches need to be able to manage this.

CBJ and CBS aren't getting along. That isn't new. Apparently, CBS thinks that CBJ hamstrings him and makes it impossible for him to run the defense he wants. They're barely civil to each other. I've been wondering if Shoop will quit. It's crossed my mind that he's sticking around to see if CBJ gets released and he can get an interim tag.

IMO, most of this will get patched up. Position coaches have talked players back before-- more than we know-- so it's possible everybody will play against UMass and this will all go away. But it shouldn't have been allowed to escalate to this point.

If this is remotely true, the CBJ is done here

Watching Miss st vs LSU game and we need Mullen. With the right QB his offense is exciting.

I was at that game. Fitzgerald is legit. Their defense manhandled LSU's line and stopped Guice (one of the better SEC RBs). My MSU buddies say Mullen and his wife love Starkville and won't leave. They said due to the low expectations of MSU and low pressure, he is content. I find it hard to believe that a coach doesn't want a challenge that includes more money, more resources, and better visibility to make it to the next level. While Starkville looks nice for a college town, I don't believe anyone is content to stay there. There isn't much there.

Drama is going to come out in times like this. Similar kind of drama even came out at Bama. Coordinators and HCs don't always get along. Not alarming

If we've really got two years in a row of this garbage, he has to go. We'll never win anything of note with stuff like this constantly going on behind the scenes.

CBJ hamstringing elite coaches. Yup. I can see that. Such a tight wad.

Just let them go and you know maybe they will actually make you look smart.

Stop micro managing everything and everyone.

JG and Hurd aren't that similar situations. Hurd really had no reason to complain. JG probably feels he deserves a chance and probably was promised a chance. Tyler Byrd is the one who should be really mad he is being wasted. That being said I don't think quitting on your team is ever the right thing to do. Especially mid season.
