MSU will beat Uga imo. Auburn's defense is legit. I wouldn't count out UF vs Uga either. Are we forgetting 2013 UF team? I don't think it's 80's bad.

Maybe. UGA has been known to underachieve. Miss St and Auburn games could be toss-ups-- the team that wants it more could take it. I do think UT made this UF team look better than they are. Our poor play gave them momentum and boosted their QB's confidence. They could easily finish with a worse record than us.

I hope he does win the East, then I hope he goes out and finds another job. More than happy to serve as a reference.

Haslam needs to hire him in Cleveland. Solves the Tennessee issue without a decision by Currie, would negate the buyout, and the Browns are cursed anyway so it makes them no worse

MTSU would be a good place. Maybe I'll run into him at the Home Depot 😂

Lol but really I think the general consensus is we think he is a good clean coach that recruits well and we respect the hell out of him, but probably isn't quite made for the SEC.

I agree we made them look better than they are, and I agree we might finish with a better record, I just don't think they are that bad. But I also was one of the ones on here saying it wouldn't be an easy win. So either UT is way worse than I thought (and still think) or UF isn't as bad as some think. Only time will tell, lots of football left. I didn't wait all offseason to give up on the team 3 games in

Yea it wasn't Easy but if we are going to crown him like we have he has to catch that. Both players are at fault

I'm not sure I understand why people are saying Calloway was at fault. If he didn't have a near 40 inch vertical he probably wouldn't have even got a finger tip on the ball.

I actually like Butch a lot. I think he's a good guy and he has done a lot for our program. If he wins the east he can stay. I'll believe it when I see it. But he needs to make corrections, especially personnel management.

Yep. I like Butch the person a lot. Seems like a genuine fella who loves Tennessee. I hate it for him but he just ain't got it.

I sort of get where y'all are coming from. A comeback this season to win the East would be the perfect metaphor for a classic Butch game. He literally waits until he is completely backed into a corner to start fighting.

Hopefully we will play our best football moving forward. But man. I'm tired of it all. This program is so stale right now and needs new energy. Butch has fulfilled what he came here to do IMO.

Win the East or gtfo. He is out of excuses. Not one more will work.

The biggest problem I have is UF coaching sucked too. They tried to give us the game, we tried to give it them even harder. We had every chance in the world to win. With just decent coaching we win by double digits. With decent QB play we win. With a good FG kicker we win. Without playing COVER TWO on the last play we send it into OT. I said it'd be close going into the game, I wasn't even 100% sold on winning. I'd have very little problem if we just straight up got out coached and out played, but we didn't.

Like I've said before. If JG doesn't start next week I'm done and I don't see us winning anything more than 7 maybe MAYBE 8 if we get lucky with Dormady.

Well said. Fault belongs everywhere.

I have seen very little criticism of the OL but I think they got whipped most of the game. JK bailed them out on the stat sheet with great individual efforts.

I went back and looked at the stats and we have 15 of our 33 rushes result in 2 or less yards. That's not exactly winning the line of scrimmage.

Between the 10 yard line and endzone, whatever makes the most sense, LS does the opposite.

I have been trying to figure out a way to express this all day. The counter-intuitive with Scott's play calling is strong.

If Butch wins the east I will be the first person in here to post this:
