I must say this. This forum is the last sane refuge on the internet. It's good to be here. And it's really not "that" sane. Things are bad out there on the tubes.

I'm a positive guy and defended him in 2015 when people went crazy calling for his head. But I'm not going to bother with it this time around. He brought this on himself with the bad game plan yesterday. It's year 5, we clearly have a talented roster that is holding up despite voluminous injuries and he makes 4+ million a year. At some point he owns the results and I think this is the year he does.

With that said I hope he rights the ship and we win 9 ball games. But I'm not going to spend my time defending him anymore.

I'm also not going to waste my time trashing him. ;-)

I won't believe we can't win the SECE until it's mathematically impossible. But UGA has an easier schedule than UT and losing to the worst UF team since the 80s makes our path much harder than it should have been. It's going to be tough to beat UGA and even tougher to beat Bama. Auburn is looking shaky and we need them to beat UGA to help us.

Yep. This sums it up for me too. In 2015 we finished strong and played hard, disciplined football with some clever playcalling and I thought that was our brand. We are playing harder this year than last year, but the overall game plan seems to be a mess and I can't figure out why in retrospect every important game of the Butch era seems to end in a complete circus of events. They sure are entertaining but at some point I'd just like us to dominate a ball game like MSU dominated LSU.

MSU will beat Uga imo. Auburn's defense is legit. I wouldn't count out UF vs Uga either. Are we forgetting 2013 UF team? I don't think it's 80's bad.

I went dark last year with the Hurd debacle. I wanted him fired for allowing the locker room to be divided. We had the talent for a really special season. Many on here were much more level headed than me. I learned a good lesson that you should be patient and wait for everything to play out.

We are the most passionate fans in sports. We have been through hell with this team. The talent is for him to win. Thanks to him for that. He has to win though. Let's see if he can.

Ok. That's fair, and maybe I should have worded it differently. Let me put it this way, 2011 @ UK was when I realized Dooley wasn't the guy and 2017 @ Florida is when I realized Jones isn't the guy, so I guess that's why they seem so similar to me.

I think Florida has just as many, if not more, key starters out than us yesterday.

Not buying that excuse being thrown around.

Last year's Vandy game is Dooley's UK game, and this year's Florida game is Dooley's 2012 Florida game.
