In an interview his freshmen year, he said he was asked to play WR due to a need there, and he said he wanted to help the team. It seems like they asked a followup along the lines of if he would prefer to play DB, and he just said he's a WR.

Thanks. Sure would like to see him switch back. Heck I would throw Jennings out there with a cast .

Greatly improved? The first three games have been riddled with wrong routes and dropped balls. Callaway is the only one making plays.

And he Had his fair share in the UF game. Two clear wrong routes and the illegal motion. He absolutely makes plays, but we need guys who make plays and don't negate that with bad plays.

Byrd was recruited as a CB. He expected to play defense at UT. After he signed, the coaches wanted to move him to WR and he said he's willing to play where needed. This is from an interview with Byrd. It's inexplicable that he's sitting on the bench behind FR. Hubbs said CBJ won't move Byrd to defense, won't give a reason and nobody understands it.

Because he's an incompetent coach when it comes to handling personnel

Are you blind? The one that Palmer ran at the goal line was the wrong route

And Calloway ran the wrong route on a play early. Was a "RB screen" but not really. Make everyone think RB screen then hit the wr all alone across the middle. Calloway just stopped the first time we did it and watched the ball sail past fortunately, at the half someonereminded him what the play was, and he ran his route when we ran the play again (in the 4th quarter I think), and we had a big gain. Not sure who was wrong when JSmith cut to the boundary and QD threw to the seam.

As I said before, open the vault for Mullen If no, pay Venables well as if he has been a HC in his past. This game is focused around QB's and defense. Mullen is the QB whisperer. Venables is the best DC/recruiter out there. Both know real assistant coaches and players. Currie knows what to do.

Byrd can't possibly like being a back up slot receiver that blocks for other guys over being a top CB. Not buying that one. Nearly all of these players want to be in the NFL and he would know that playing in a little used role will not get him there. He played lights out in the HS all star game as a CB, what makes anybody think that he would not relish the role unless he has openly stated in front of reputable sources.

Slow down Bass

Grain of salt. Going to start hearing all these rumors because people are mad. Some may have a portion of truth, some may be completely false.

Fact is if he wins against Georgia people have wasted a lot of time trolling.
