Real silly to even bring up but a buddy asked me what I thought Tennessee would have done today had our old buddy Lane Kiffin been head coach. I answered and said Tennessee would have won by 3 TD's. I miss feeling like a Tennessee team had the advantage coaching wise going into just about every game. Haven't felt that way since 09.

Florida stacked the box. Your QB has to back them off.

Doesn't matter if our ol is as good as people think or say other than their defensive ends the d isn't that good. No matter if they stacked it they should at least get 4-5 yards with a good ol. Michigan did and they have no rb and line isn't as experienced as ours. It wasn't till they figured out...oh hey they aren't as good as we think did they start blocking and opening lanes. But by then it was too late. You impose your will not the other way around.

I fully believe Kiffin would have Dormady and these receivers rolling. He would also have us on some serious sanctions though.

I think CBJ will leave if he can, and I think he'll take less money to make the move to a conference with less pressure and scrutiny. Wouldn't surprise me if UT would negotiate his buyout to make that possible. IIRC, it dropped to $2 mil this February. A few more embarrassing SEC losses, and Currie probably would see that as a win.
If the season continues this way, then this is our best case scenario, IMO

That pick 6 is all on the QB. A hitch shouldn't be high enough for you to have to jump at all.

I agree it should not be high but it wasn't like he threw it right into the guys hands like a traditional pick 6 where the guy cuts in front of your guy or you just don't see the guy and hit him in the breadbasket. It went thru Calloway's hands and though a tough catch, one you catch or knock down. Dobbs threw plenty of those way over guys heads at times. Calloway has to help him out there. That was not a traditional pick 6 and you know it. I do want to see more JG going forward but he did help get us down there. The back foot throws are what drive me crazy more than anything. Even with QD, we should've won and you know that too.

I'm enjoying South Carolina's gaffs today.

They have a ton of recruits there, including Jaycee Horn and they look dumb. MuschAmp has made some dumb calls. Stuffed on 4th and 1 two or three times. Missed field goals. Missed extra point on their only Td. Losing at home to Kentucky by 11.

But honestly, you dont really know that.

You going on about JG is no different than the dumb pre-season optimism about Dormady.

JG wil have to prove it on the field like everyone else. Maybe he gets that chance soon.

I have to agree. What if QD is our best option? The backup is always the fans' Heisman. But it is time to see what JG has with UMASS. Play QD 2-3 series' then roll with JG to the end. See what he has. Need to see more than what they gave him against isu

Feel bad for Wiggins. Feel bad for Byrd. Wasted here for no reason. Also feel bad for all the players. They deserved to win the game. Coaches let them down.

We need to roll with JG and protect our future. We can't have him transfer. With experience, JG will be better than QD imo.

There really just isn't anything left to say.

Sure there is like placing some blame where it really belongs.

Missed kicks

A shanked punt

Dropped TDs

Dropped passes turn pick 6

Poor passes

A backup QB that wasn't mentally ready enough to get his team to the line and the ball snapped without a false start.

And one of the worst most ill timed unsportsmanlike penalties ever by a guy that is supposed to be a leader on our team.

Plenty of poor plays by players!
