Don't know. He definitely was tweeting during ISU about it. And that's what is mentioned in the article. And that's the part I have a problem with.

Georgia tech is another story.

Never, in the history of college football has a team won back to back 9 win seasons, after having not won that many in a decade, been undefeated, and felt such wrath from its on fanbase.

Irrelevant to football but just a funny story. My dad likes NASCAR and even watches the post-race shows on those secondary sports networks. Some reporters you never heard of, got an interview with Dale jr.
At work the next morning, they had the radio on Andy and Allison. They took the exact interview I listened to and replaced the interviewers voices with their voices. Kept thanking him for taking time to be with them at the end. It was really just awkward to be honest.

I think the perception is that he has peaked as a coach, and isn't quite good enough to win the SEC East. A perennial 8-4 team.

When I was at my Captain's Career Course on Ft. Jackson, SC, they put us up and the rooms weren't bad at all. However, that part of the base was so old that the hot water came from some facility and not from a hot water heater in the building. Well that facility broke and we went days without hot water. I know that seems silly and I've spent longer than that without hot water and been fine but we were in the field. If the Air Force Lodging lost hot water you know that would be fixed ASAP. Ft Jackson took days to fix it. Lol.

Oh well. At least I'm not in the Marine Corps!

Stayed on an Air Force base for a couple nights and ate great. Steak, lobster and crab legs kinda great.

Only time we got lobster or crab legs on the boat was when the CO was gonna come on the 1-MC and extend deployment or deliver bad news.

That perception is a false narrative, that's the problem. All the relevant progress points to a program that has continued to get better. A 2nd consecutive 9-4 season should be viewed as a success when all the things that happened last season are considered.

This should be a 10-3 type of team and that would also point to continued improvement.

If we get to 10-3 I agree but doesn't this year have to play out before we answer the question if Jones has plateaued?

Even in everyday life the perception is that success is a steady incline. That's not reality. Anyone who has had to work very hard for something that is extremely difficult to attain can tell you that.

Still at 7-5 but if we can get past Florida, 9-3 is a real possibility IF we beat the lower tier SEC teams this time. Scar isn't a pushover

I think we can get by them. Really, I think our losses will be to UGA and bama. I have a good feeling about LSU for some reason, I think we roll UF, and take care of the also-rans.

If we beat UF and UGA again this year, we have a great shot at 11-1 imo.

Not 10. As long as we are 8-4, this year, Butch gets 6 years with me. Because, UT will be loaded next year and if he doesn't get it done in these next 2 years, I will come over to the dark side and join u. Of course, you have been there so long, I can't remember when u were half-way positive.
