I've ignored this point a hundred times so I guess I'll have to address it.

1) most of the talent I'm talking about are in the last two recruiting classes - the two that have Smart's name on them. I brought it up at all as a counterpoint to the quoted posters' idea that we would be in worse shape if we were stuck with Smart or McElwain. Mac is debatable - but going forward, I don't think a neutral observer would pick Butch Jones over Kirby Smart for the next three year window - and I don't think that highly of Kirby at all.

2) yes, Georgia did lose to Vanderbilt last year. There was also a certain coach who lost to Vanderbilt in his first year. It won't be hard to find him. And that game made his team bowl ineligible.

And that same coach also didn't have close to the talent Kirby had his first year and was picked to win the east the next

Yeah, I'd hate to be stuck with those bum coaches.

Jim McElwain: 19-9 at Florida, 13-3 in conference, two SEC East titles in two tries.

Kirby Smart: 10-5 at Georgia, 4-4 in conference, best collection of young talent in the league besides Alabama.

Butch Jones: 32-21 at Tennessee, 14-18 in conference. 0 SEC East titles in 5 tries.

Ha, 1-1 and 0-1 vs Butch.

Funny I read someone talking up for McElwain. I don't think Butch is a good head coach but horse teeth is trash. He's done nothing of significance at Florida. Winning the East is not an accomplishment now. Especially when Bama destroys you for it. And he hasn't developed one guy on the Florida offense. He's horrible period and a garbage recruiter.

In Florida's last 17 games they are 9-8.

In eight losses they were outscored 284-108

what has palmer showed u in these past two games?..he got some separation on some throws but it was Indiana state..i just want to see how he do against a legit sec defense..thats the only way I can judge the kid..Brandon is the real deal..he is leading the team and catches and targets to me it shows me that him and dormady has good chemistry..it just a matter of time before Brandon has his breakout game
Man I hope Brandon has a breakout game, goes on to have the best season a WR has ever had, but you come across as petty when you throw shade at the other wideouts. No problem with you being proud of your nephew and pumping his tires, but lay off the other guys. They are a part of Brandon's team and you should be proud of them too.

1. If shark hunter was our coach recruiting would be Dooley level or worse. He is struggling in recruiting at fla. Imagine how bad he would suck here

2. As much as we hate him, James Franklin is a pretty dang good coach and Butch's roster was trash that year.

Two dumb arguments

There is always a response to keep driving the narrative. 9 of the 11 starters on offense are juniors or seniors. That doesn't include Sony Michel. The depth chart lists 12 positions on defense, and 11 of the 12 are juniors or seniors. None of those are Kirby's players unless they are a transfer.

So, what were you saying about their talent and his players?

Looking at the depth chart for next year. The OL should be dominate and there shouldn't be any excuses for it. I wonder how it'll work with adding Mays cause a man of his caliber should start. I'm thinking it will be

Richmond
Mays
Jones
Smith
Hall

Reserves: Tatum, Johnson, Neihaus, Boulware. Redshirt most/all other freshmen.

They don't get it

Hey chief and Kingston Vol, who the **** do you want Tennessee to hire.... Nobody wanted the damn job when butch got it. 10-5 with the talent uga has is not good. Florida has gotten worse since Mac took over.... I'm pretty sure your dumbass doesn't get it.

So tell, who the hell could Tennessee hire, when nobody wanted the damn job in the first place.....

...and if the replay official had held up the standard of review, we would have won.

Kirby Smart's best players are Richt guys. He does have them organized on defense at the least but the best players on that team are 4-5 star guys that Richt brought in. Fromm is his guy though and looks decent especially for a freshman.

Boulware is going to be good. I don't think he'll be on the bench. Mays will be the 6th man. Which is fine...

Eh, that's pretty weak "shade" if you can even call it that. He didn't say anyone sucked. Just that Brandon has shown more. He's definitely been open more than anyone else, have to agree there.

OL should be good, QB should develop, RB should be great, WR's should be better, DL needs this year's freshmen to develop, LB's need Kirkland and Smith healthy, and secondary should be better

Other than another year of hoping that Kirkland stays healthy, next year's team should be good in many areas.

I'm not sold on Fromm yet. ND is not the barometer you need to measure if he will be decent. They went 4-8 last year and their defense is trash. Until he plays someone worth their salt on d i'll reserve judgment.

No he hasn't..... he gets more targets.... Callaway stays open the QB just doesn't find him enough.

A bit off topic, but CBS has Orlando Brown going #1 overall in its mock draft now. Clemson has 6 players projected in the 1st rd.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...-huge-smu-wideout-giants-land-a-franchise-qb/

If Darnold has another good year, I don't see how he doesn't go first. NFL is a QB-driven league.

Pretty impressive for Brown nonetheless. Still remember when Brown was all about UT until everyone realized he couldn't get qualified academically. Sucks.
