I agree that Bituli should be the starter. I just didn't agree that Jumper would get decleated 7 or 8 times.

It's hilarious. Jumper is limited. He is not fast. But people so quickly forget what they have seen and replace it with their hopes. Jumper actually played in this exact game, against this exact opponent last season. He played solid and we won. Certainly did not get decleated 7-8 times. Lol! Bituli ceiling is much higher and shows tremendous promise. Hopefully he plays well enough to take snaps away from Jumper.

I think there are extremes on both sides of the fence. Anyone that can't see the improvement with Jumper is on the extreme negative side. I'm not so much worried about him being white as I am not being able to get to the play against faster teams. He has had some tackles for loss I don't remember many that weren't assisted. He did light up that Florida back on the screen last year. There is a reason that we see him making tackles on the back of the other team. It's because he's late. The same criticisms were said of AJ Johnson when he was here until his abbreviated last year. I think we need linebackers that can hit running backs and make them go backwards. In order to do this, you have to first be able to get to the play. To be fair though, we only have one backer that has shown that ability in any capacity in Bituli.

This.

Baker Mayfield is a major douchebag for doing that and I'm 1000% sure that if that happened here, whoever did it would be public enemy #1.

I'm not sure but I heard it was in retaliation for something Oh State players had done. If so, makes it more acceptable to me.

Very accurate. Jumper is similar LB to AJ. AJ diagnosed plays a little faster and was stronger at point of contact against blockers. But he got to plays downfield instead of upfield because of his lack of speed. Resulted in lots of tackles but very few big plays. Much like Jumper.

Weather isn't looking great for Saturday. Pretty good chance of thunderstorms. And for the people driving, it's supposed to flood because of high waters. Do you think this weather benefits UT or UF more?

White ginger walk-on whose daddy supposedly purchased his playing time. Yep, he had no chance with this fanbase.

Similarly, people would have had a meltdown upon DeBord's departure if he was 45 and had hair and came from Arizona or something.

He needed to grow an epic beard like Tormund, then we would come around.

Watching Finebaum, what is the deal with the Auburn hate? The lost to the NC team 14-6 and everyone ready to fire the coach. Alabama couldn't beat Clemson either.

You wouldn't believe how strong the negatives are here. The local talk show hosts and even some of the Auburn fans are really down on Mahlzan and the team.

I watched the entire game, and their offense wasn't great, but they led most of the game and lost by 8 to the defending national champs at their stadium. Auburn's defense is really good, and so is Clemson's. Auburn's offense will get better, and they still have a shot at beating Bama and winning the west.

Hey, Freak, since so many posters here like to use the term gitshirts, I have a few ideas in mind for some posters who need them. TIA.

I think we missed Reeves-Maybin as much as anybody last year and so far this year. That dude was the anti-late. He diagnosed plays and shot gaps so quickly that he was able to kill sweeps and screens. I haven't seen that player on this team yet.

I haven't been happy with Jumper but decleated? Come on man.

The thing I've noticed about Jumper this year is that he is usually in the general area to make the play but he either misses the tackle, overruns the play, or just falls down right before making the play. But he's right there!!!

I usually award those to posters who have suggestions about other posters.

Horseshoes and hand grenades.

Just a couple of random thoughts and questions.

Last trip to Gainesville we saw a few trick plays to be competitive. Has the O evolved and the Florida D changed to the degree that the play calling moves away from these or do we see this kind of play calling again?

Won't be surprised to see Josh Smith and TKjr have big plays. They know this rivalry and I can see both of them stepping up to make an impact.
