Listening to sportstalk this morning and they had Barrett Sallee on... hes still salty.
He mentioned that USCe was a CLEAR CUT #2 in the East because they have shown the most. He then went on to say that "UT wins the FL game because there is more to like with them... at least against the gators" Zing.
Callaway is definitely good, but let's tap the breaks on comparing him to past WRs-- he has basically played two games against an ACC team not known for their pass coverage and a Div ll team.... If he comes out and performs like this against SEC juggernauts, then he should definitely get these types of props.
Flying in the day of is not good for us. Breaks our routine, gotta wake up at like 5 am, etc...
They are also tied for 107 in Total Defense so far. Elite.
They have been outgained in both of their games so far, including Missouri who had the ball for 15 minutes less then the gamecocks did.
I don't agree it was a bad decision. He just threw it a bit too high.
I am sorry but under circumstances we just need to play anywhere at anytime they come up with. They are the ones that have gone thru this mess and all the distractions of it. Play the game wherever Florida and the SEC wants is what needs to happen. Our wishes shouldn't matter.
At some point they have to just play it but I understand TN preference. Your talking FL, GA, SC all on road in same season. West va on neutral site which will be tough with how that offense looks right now without grier. This also hurts our revenue for next yr with one less home game.
At same time if I'm Butch it may not be such a bad option to have this young team playing at home instead ofnon road. Next yr would probably be a more veteran bunch with returns of Hall, Jennings and Kirkland to handle Swamp.
