Defensively I'm at a 6 or 7. The D rotations (or lack thereof) are just mind boggling. How you continue to play Jumper is beyond me. Someone said it best yesterday in that it'd probably be better to just play with 10 without Jumper than with a full 11 that includes Jumper. He misses more tackles than he actually gets. He gets in the way of our players trying to make plays. He is a liability at best and will cost us dearly in a game that matters.
Also might as well plug in someone else besides Martin and let them get up to speed because he (regardless of injury) is not starting material.
They should be rotating Phillips and Johnson more at DE as well as possibly plugging in Ignont more.
These coaches seem to evaluate performance poorly and then rotate based on those piss-poor evaluations. Supposedly Martin had the best camp which cannot be remotely true based on what he's displayed in these first 2 games.
I'm also concerned about the intensity of our D. Yes, these first two offenses have been unconventional and a little tricky to defend but there seems to be no intensity, no passion, no dog to get after it on D.
