Ok since you did not understand and I can see how you might not have. If John Kerry wins Ohio in 04 he is president correct.Look what happened to the gop in ohio in 06 statewide elections their 2 candidates got beat by an average of 17%. getting beat by 7% this day and age is getting crushed but 17%. Hey if anyone wants to place a bet on the pres election I will agree to be banned for a year from volnation if Obama loses but you must agree to the same if Mccain loses any takers out there.

Good greif, the country is looking for leaders, not parties. Considering the approval numbers of this group of slackers, I would not go shouting from the rooftops for one party or the other. And if you actually looked at the new Dems coming in, they are more Rep than card carring Reps are.

Why should I debate the merits of Tchaikovsky vs. Veggie Tales with my twins. We all get frustrated and they still walk away not giving a rip about a Christmas concerto, I'm still stuck with Veggie Tales and they still think they know music.

Oh, I didn't mean arguing as much as he constantly posts the same links in every thread, then makes bets in every thread as well. It gets old.

Many of the beauty contest polls do of course show McCain with a lead over Obama nationally if the election were held now, but I tell you what, given what the world witnessed in the Democratic nomination race...I'll put my money on Obama as an underdog anyday. Not to mention, once the brutal media scrutiny starts to focus a little more on McCain also...I think he may be in some trouble. In fact, once the tv ads start flying with the soundbites of McCain conceding the economy is not his strong suit and of him declaring we may be in Iraq for another 100 years, well...we'll see how long his lead holds up. I think one advantage to Obama of having survived this rough & tumble and LONG nomination race is that I suspect much, perhaps all of his 'dirt' is exposed and familiar. McCain has not yet begun to suffer.

Obama's policies are enough to do him in, not saying he'll win or lose, but I wouldn't be so cocky. There's more dirt on Obama that will come out in the next few months.

Yes because the brutal media, is going to protect Obama at all cost, so he want have to worry about that. McCain has yet to suffer, uh yeah, all those year being tortured in a POW camp, thinking he was going to die everyday. Wow your some kind of human being.

Taking that bet would actually require me to put some faith in the voting public to be educated about their decision. It would also mean that many would need to take responsibility for their actions and become more self-sufficient.

Having said that, I feel I would get better odds betting on Vandy to win the NC in football.

You know damn well 615 is correct if I was part of your gop choir I could post the exact same post word for word daily and you would say nothing.The only time I post the polls for congress is when one of you all post how bad the dems are doing in congress so why don't you post something about people posting how bad the dems are doing in congress?I'll tell you why cause they agree with you.As far as the bet posts I put it in 2 posts yesterday for the first time EVER you don't like what I post take the bet and maybe you'll be rid of me for a year.:)
