I think it would have been him or Jumper and from everything the staff says they trust Jumper. I know it's dangerous trusting what the staff says but I think Jumper plays the same amount even if smith was healthy
SIAP...just going to drop this right here and walk away....
Quinten Dormady had the best debut for a Tennessee football quarterback in history

I think Bituli, Smith and either Jumper/McDowell would have/could have been much more stout against the GT attack. I do think Jumper plays a lot regardless, but having another big, fast body in there, especially at LB would have allowed them to do some different things, maybe more blitzing etc.
Maybe. I just don't see Jumper being ready to play all three spots. Seems like he was ready for Sam and MLB
I was disappointed we didn't see Sapp at all, or I missed him. Is he still working his way back?
I think we will be ok at LB this year if one or more of Sapp/Smith/Ignot can step into a more prominent role. Would allow us to have a decent rotation IMO. Confident in Bituli and to some extent Jumper and McDowell to provide decent play. Need one of the other guys to step up and be more of a difference maker like the potential Bituli showed.
