To Protect and to Serve II

Normally I back cops but they completely screwed this one. As a nurse, I would be suing them. She's following hospital and HIPPA laws.

I wonder how often an officer goes into an ER and draws blood without permission. Wouldn't be surprised if that officer has done it before.

"You're policy is intervening with my law"...Are you freaking kidding me?!?! That hospital policy is there because it is the law. It's called HIPAA!

Seriously this cop needs to be fired yesterday and I wouldn't be against assault charges being filed against him either.

What many people don't realize is the police were in high pursuit of the gentleman who hit this patient. So I'm wondering if they wanted this patients blood drawn to see if he was under the influence just in case he tried to sue the officers for causing him harm. Why else try and get blood with no warrant... Which they probably knew no Judge would grant. He didn't cause the accident.

The family of the victim in the crash needs to lawyer up because the cops in this video were clearly conspiring to convict the man of anything so they could avoid liability for the police chase that caused the man's injuries.

Good catch. They were trying to cover their asses.

I read the hospital patient is a truck driver and that any time a truck driver is involved in an accident in Utah they are required by law to have their blood drawn. That being said, the guy probably already had some sort of screening upon being entered to the hospital and all that idiot cop had to do was wait the short amount of time it took to get a warrant.

Probably went all the way to the chief, that guy hasn't been fired so.

Sounds like the guy in the hospital is in a coma and the man that caused the accident was killed running from the police in a high speed pursuit. It's being speculated the police are looking for anything they can find to cover their butts.

So the cops can violate my 4th Amendment rights to possibly cover their azzes in civil court?

Let's back up... what was the reason for the car chase?
