My wife made jambalaya at 5am this morning, since I don't get to share hot meals with my family on long weekends she's been making Monday mornings fun and has our boys awake super early so when I get home I can see them off to school and daycare, then she goes to work and I get a few hours of sleep.
Praying for the Texas residents going through this hurricane, hoping others friends and family find each other safely and can rebuild a stronger Texas! Don't take family time for granted. There are hundreds of thousands still wet and dirty trying to make it through this disaster.

Texas Strong! Love from Tennessee!

Porkchops, green beans, corn, fried taters, and sourdough bread. Veggies fresh from the garden to table today. And sourdough bread came from the Amish today. Good eatin

fried chicken -- was so so --- a question (maybe for Behr) -- why doesn't boneless chicken breast come with skin on anymore ?

You ate a lamb's heart?

Yes. Fresh from the Halal abattoir that's between my home and place of work. I wanted the kidneys, but those had been scooped up already. Fresh hear meat is very good grilled/seared to medium rare. I did the stir fry just to try something different.
