Things I'm mad about today

Dude, the current govenor of Illinois has only been there since 2015.

Numerous previous governors in the past 35 years served or have served jail time, if I'm not mistaken.

Haslam isn't eligible for re-election. The only Democrat that has declared can't win, and the Republicans who have declared are terrifying.

I would love for Madeline Rogero, the current mayor of Knoxville, to run. It seems unlikely, tho.

Do you realize what living in Tennessee is like? We don't have a state income tax, but we have one of the highest sales tax rates in the country. We also just increased the the gas tax.

I don't mind paying taxes, because I enjoy having things like roads, schools, etc. However, that seems to be your major rub with Illinois if I recall correctly.

Before you move, I would take the time to understand what's happening in your own state and the one you want to move to.

Tennessee is better in nearly every category. I'm glad to have escaped Illinois. The cost of living in TN is one of the lowest states in the country. Nashville is getting too high relative to the other, large cities in the state though.

I'm mad because I'm sick... Feel like hammered crap. And to top it off my back is starting to hurt. Not sure if they are related somehow. And I need to work today but so far I have sat on my rear end. Took some medicine so hoping I feel well enough to get something done today.

I live in Nashville. I'm painfully aware.

when that happens does your cable tv do it also ?

We don't have cable. It's just the internet service here. It sucks snd everyone hates it, but they have a monopoly and there's nothing you can do.

It's gonna go up everywhere due to the refineries in Texas and Louisiana, imo.

Thing is the refinery in my area is in Indiana -- or so they say, whenever it goes up because of 'maintenance' every so often --and they seem to raise it once the media writes a story about it -- oh well, Ill just use my Kroger discount points to offset it

We've been lucky thus far. Gas prices have not changed...yet.
