i don't think they're too high on littlefinger to begin with...kinda got stuck with him....and they don't know that he pushed whatshername thru the hole...they think she killed herself.
sansa has a couple cards to play if need be.
Don't remember the character's name, but the Ser in protection of Robin Arryn wouldn't raise an eyebrow if they started flaying Littlefinger alive. Not after having to beg mercy in front of the little brat after Baelysh got him a BIRDIE.
No doubt that they should not of cut 3 episodes out if this season though imo.
Eh... Most of the relationships were already there, as well as the reasons for any conflict between them... Save the Stark sisters...In full agreement. There was enough material in this season to make it 10 episodes. Heck, probably another season even without much filler. There's been sudden changes in characters, and character's disposition toward each other, without much explanation. More time could have provided more background to the story where these changes would have seemed more logical.

A normal episode of Game of Thrones costs $6 million dollars. Now add the CGI costs for dragons and white walkers.
Exactly, perfectly said. I have no idea why the chose to cut episodes out. Unless they're just ready to get the show over with.
"According to New York Times , this TV series generates "slightly more than $1 billion annually," as compared to Showtime which is only producing $692 million. Being an insanely popular show, episodes of Game of Thrones averages a budget of $6 million per episode"
I think I've read where many of the cast are ready to move on to other things; even though for many of them this will be the biggest thing they ever do.
It's a common problem. I've read The Walking Dead is beginning to have rumblings of the same thing.
