HBO's "Game of Thrones"

i don't think they're too high on littlefinger to begin with...kinda got stuck with him....and they don't know that he pushed whatshername thru the hole...they think she killed herself.

sansa has a couple cards to play if need be.

Don't remember the character's name, but the Ser in protection of Robin Arryn wouldn't raise an eyebrow if they started flaying Littlefinger alive. Not after having to beg mercy in front of the little brat after Baelysh got him a BIRDIE.

Of all the just plain weird things we've seen on Game of Thrones, Lysa Arryn breastfeeding her preteen kid might be at the top of the list.

Yup

Yeah, I made the mistake of going to Youtube last week. I wasn't looking for spoilers but it popped up on my recommended feed and I couldn't resist.

Glad it's not leaked because I can't control myself if it's there in front of me. I'd rather be surprised.

No doubt that they should not of cut 3 episodes out of this season though imo.

In full agreement. There was enough material in this season to make it 10 episodes. Heck, probably another season even without much filler. There's been sudden changes in characters, and character's disposition toward each other, without much explanation. More time could have provided more background to the story where these changes would have seemed more logical.

Eh... Most of the relationships were already there, as well as the reasons for any conflict between them... Save the Stark sisters...

Gendry and Jon snow.... Danny and Jon snow... Might agree on that too... But the build up between Danny and Jon was already there...

All in all though I do agree there is more they could have done with a couple more episodes...

Exactly, perfectly said. I have no idea why the chose to cut episodes out. Unless they're just ready to get the show over with.

A normal episode of Game of Thrones costs $6 million dollars. Now add the CGI costs for dragons and white walkers.

"According to New York Times , this TV series generates "slightly more than $1 billion annually," as compared to Showtime which is only producing $692 million. Being an insanely popular show, episodes of Game of Thrones averages a budget of $6 million per episode"

I think I've read where many of the cast are ready to move on to other things; even though for many of them this will be the biggest thing they ever do.

It's a common problem. I've read The Walking Dead is beginning to have rumblings of the same thing.

So they're turning a profit in excess of 900 million on the show? Am I reading that right? Kind of shortsighted in the accountants part to not have another season. I subscribe to HBO solely for GoT. I suspect I'm not alone. As soon as the season is over I cancel the subscription. They add another season, that's another season of subscriptions for many, plus another season of Bluray/DVD sales.

I think this is the main problem. Creative types seem to get bored doing the same thing over and over, it becomes a drudgery.

Final episode of season 7 tonight! I am more hyped about it than I was for the Mayweather-McGregor fight last night. Although the fight did entertain me for a few rounds, I expect GoT to entertain me for an hour and a half. I don't think we will get a lot of action(kinda like the fight) tonight but I do think LF gets what's been coming to him since his 1st appearance.
