I'm with you're scenario. I appreciate jumper and while he is serviceable and can make some really nice plays here and there, I think we need to get Bituli a significant chunk. Let's get him some more experience and while we're at it let's get Ignont some snaps too.

Bituli is a mack truck but we dont know yet how well he identifies plays. I think him and jumper both perform well against tech. Imo the game will be decided on the edges.

Jumper has more football ability than everyone on this board. He puts on the Orange and puts his body on the line for our enjoyment. It is fine to acknowledge that he isn't the first choice most of us would want out there but the constant disparagement of a young man who is a VFL is wrong. Until we are ready to put our skills to the test then I don't think we have the right to drag him through the mud. We can certainly state our opinion but we don't have the right to constantly berade the kid. JMO.

Agree with this. Pulling hard for Jumper. does not need any hate his way.

Fair point. Hopefully Bituli shows he can handle it and be trusted. I feel pretty safe about one side on the edges with Gaulden at CB. The staff made a good call with that.

Went to a friends house for the fight last night and there was a GT fan there. He will be going to the game and knew a lot about his team. He said he doesn't feel confident in the slightest and the biggest reason was the OL. He said it was easy to point to the RB that got dismissed and breaking in a new QB but the OL is most worrisome. He doesn't think they will be able to handle our DL.

I think Bruin gets more of a bad rep than he deserves. Of course in years past he's been a negative Norman about a lot of things to the point that it was down right obnoxious (including the "I'm never coming back" and then returning), but since his return he has had a more positive outlook and has brought insightful points of view. I think people trash him because it gets a lot of likes even when he doesn't deserve it. I like the new Bruin. I don't think you deserve as much hate as you get and I welcome your insight more than others do. TIFWIW

I agree. He gets fixated more than most of us but I have grown to like him.

He'll, yesterday he proved to be more of an insider than most on here.

Lol. You threatened me with physical violence on an internet message board and I seem like the one that takes myself too seriously.

I don't know man, I bet he has an awesome truck and wears only Under Armor. I'm pretty sure we all wish we were half that cool.

I think he made an ass of himself, but you called him a p***y before he threatened you (over the Internet), so it's not really a good look for either of you lol

Nope. He started referring to everyone as codknockers. I called him Sally one time but never called him a p***y. Defend him all you want but he's still wrong.

That sounds promising. I can't believe that half of GT's fan base was at the same party with you :dance2::dance2::dance2:

Strap up then Nancy. Let's see why you bring to the table. Oh. Your a little pansy. Thought so. I'll take Colton any day of the week. He has heart and gives his all for TN. Quit shatting on a kid that is giving his blood sweat and tears to our university. You are worthless.

Not defending anyone. Saying both of your posts are posturing as tough guys over the Internet and neither are good looks. Sorry if the nuance is hard to follow.

They've been practicing Jumper to take over all spring and fall. He has the best reads and can get the defense set. DKJr has been battling injuries for a year. He had a high ankle sprain most of last season, pulled a hamstring in the spring and had knee surgery at the beginning of the summer. This is his second non-contact knee injury since spring camp. At this point, having a healthy DKJr is a luxury and the coaches have planned around him as best as they can.

It's far from ideal, but I get it.

This shouldn't be a huge surprise to anyone. Like you said it wasn't a surprise to staff. DKJ needs to go ahead and take a RS this year.
