I assume from the episode 8 trailer that the Dothraki and Unsullied will show up outside King's Landing. Anyone think Edmure Tully shows up with the Riverlands along side them?

Who dies in the season finale? Littlefinger is a popular choice. I figured there'd be a big kill off so they don't have to bring some of the higher paid actors back.

No way Littlefinger survives. He thinks he's playing those sisters...it's the opposite.

My wife believes there is a chance that Arya has already killed Little Finger. The last scene with Stansa talking with little Finger he was not displaying his normal body language and how "creepy uncle" close he always positions himself with her when they are together. She also noticed his responses where not normal for how he thinks and the statement he made "that your sister would never betray family" sounds like what Arya told her earlier.

Not sure either way, but it is something to think about.

Littlefinger isnt as obvious in the books as he is in the show. I think the writers are a little more creative with Littlefinger in the show, making him look more transparent than he actually is. I'd be surprised if he died in Season 7 finale. He's too important and holds too many important secrets. Arya is the wildcard in that she might have been playing Littlefinger all along, but I don't think that's the case - GRRM seems to be playing out the inner family conflict angle, with Littlefinger steering that boat. My guess is that boat will continue to be steered through season 8, where Sansa will learn of the 'alliance' between Jon, Daeny, and Lannisters and she will most likely reject it, announcing herself true leader of the North or some crap like that. If the North is loyal to a Stark (Sansa) and Jon's support fades, then there are some future plot lines for Little Finger to work...ie splitting up the forces for the upcoming war against the white walkers. IMO that seems to be the way things are headed.

Arya is a trained assassin. Sansa snuck into her room, a room that the show highlighted had a big a creaky door, and Arya appeared behind Sansa without a sound. I don't buy the fact that Littlefinger saw her. She snuck into Winterfell for Christ's sake. She knows what shes doing and Littlefinger is a dead man walking, imo.

If I was Dany and held her resources, I would eliminate the Lannisters post haste and therefore face the Night King without any significant enemies at my back.

I'd like to see it. Am not sure the build up is right, but I'm with you. It seemed a little below Arya to fall into a trap so easily. You'd think "a girl" would learn by now... :thumbsup:

I assume that the Reach lords who bent the knee to Dany are now part of her army. I wonder if they will include that in ep 8 when her army appears to be massing for a show of force/battle/siege.

George RR Martin recently told Metro that due to conflicts of 'writing and touring' he doesn't even watch Game of Thrones. That seems weird to me as I'm sure Benioff and Weiss would send him copies of the episodes to view at his leisure. We aren't talking about a lot of episodes here. It sounds like he just doesn't want to watch it.

Also, he said this, "On the screen characters are killed right and left. About 20 have died, which are quite alive to me and will appear in a new book." He also said that it doesn't bother him that the show has gone it's separate way from the books.

If only he could just finish the damn books for the series before he dies, then the series and the books would be on equal footing. But because of his inability to finish a book, the show has had to carry the torch to give all the poor readers a conclusion to the epic tale they've been waiting on for decades.

I think you're going to be very disappointed when you sit down with the popcorn ready to see what happens in Episode 8
