Similar reasons - R's tired of politicians being wishy washy on principle issues such as immigration, ACA, etc.

Look at the competition - Jeb was never going to get there. Cruz was smarmier than Trump and had a short history of ineffectiveness in governing. Rubio was probably the best option but he was late in breaking through.

To get at your implied point - Trump didn't out racist the other candidates; he talked tough which is something the R base had been begging it's candidates to do for years.

Swamp Creature "littlebobby" Corker has put in his 2 cents. I have been proven right about the establishment. They will fight trump tooth and nail, every step of the way. Nothing will ever change , since we have an elite class of chicken**** rulers like littlebobby..

Damn I thought it would at least be a couple of years before they turned their attention to the Founders. Here's what Angela Rye said on CNN today:

"The heart of the problem is the way many of us were taught American history. American history is not all glorious. I love John to death, I couldn’t disagree more about George Washington. George Washington was a slave owner. We need to call slave owners out for what they are. Whether we think they were protecting American freedom or not. He wasn’t protecting my freedom. I wasn’t someone – my ancestors weren’t deemed human beings to him. To me, I don’t care if it’s a George Washington statue or a Thomas Jefferson statue or a Robert E. Lee statue, they all need to come down…I’m calling out white supremacy for what it is. And sometimes, what it is, John, are blind spots. Sometimes what it is, is not acknowledging this country was built upon a very violent past that resulted in the death and the raping and the killing of my ancestors. I’m not going to allow us to say it’s okay for Robert E. Lee but not a George Washington. We need to call it what it is.”

Seriously, all the Democrats on here who hate Trump. What are your thoughts on the assianate Trump trending. Does that disgust you as much as the white supremacist does? It does me.

Yes I condemn anyone advocating his murder. There does need to be some final solution to the Trump problem though.
