Charlottesville white nationalists riots

Let me ask you this. After seeing what's happened already with the desecration of statues and whatnot, do you really trust antifa and others to just suddenly say "nah, let's stop here guys, we're done."

Most of the statue removal hasn't been done by antifa, it's been done by freaking City Councils. Elected officials, both in Charlottesville and in Baltimore.

Germany got rid of pretty much all statues related to Hitler and the Nazis. Did they erase them from museums and history books? Quite the opposite: they require students to visit concentration camps to see exactly what mistakes their country made in the past.

Nashvol was wrong about gay marriage anyways.... instead of converting straight men which is ridiculous..... it has led to men starting to dominate women's sports.

Desecration does not equal removal. And more have been damaged than removed. Doesn't get reported that often, but it does happen.

Try freaking reading next time before getting crazy with the Cheeze Whiz.

Not at all surprised that you declined to address my second paragraph

Someone said to me that these remembrances of the Confederacy belong in a museum, not on a pedestal. I think I agree; it makes no sense that we're still glorifying the Confederacy.

So should the statue of Andrew Jackson at the TN state capital be removed as well?

Pro sports teams jumping on board as well; they must all be part of the alt-left:

http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/20371946/boston-red-sox-owner-wants-yawkey-way-name-changed

Boston Red Sox owner John Henry has wanted the city to change the name of Yawkey Way for a while, and the current political climate might be just the time.

Henry told the Boston Herald that he is "haunted" by the racist legacy of previous owner Tom Yawkey, who led the team from 1933 to 1976. Although Yawkey is in the Baseball Hall of Fame, he also owned the last team in Major League Baseball to integrate -- 12 years after Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier. Even after integrating, Boston was known as an uncomfortable place for players of color to play.

Hall of Fame NFL coach Tony Dungy is spearheading an initiative to move a Confederate statue in Tampa, and he has received the support of the Rays, Buccaneers and Lightning.

I remember people here saying that Charlottesville would turn people away from the idea of removing Confederate statues. Seems like the opposite is happening

It's funny watching people get bent out of shape over an inanimate object such as a statue. But then say inanimate objects (our flag) means nothing.
