Wolf is on it

What did they want to hear?
I can tell you what they didn't want to hear and that was more political-speak. Americans, by and large, were fed up with "blah, Federal Prosecutor, blah, work with others, blah, blah, as Florida Governor, blah, my time in the Senate, blah."
They wanted someone saying the same things they were thinking and they didn't care if he was nice about it. And I honestly think, as I've said before, the people revolted against the "establishment" on both sides (Bernie on the left, Trump on the right) because they didn't sound like normal politicians. Furthermore, I think they were fed up with the media (all sides of it) picking sides and screeching about everything.
You want to know why Trump got elected? Because he didn't sound like a politician. You won't like that answer, but there is it.
You and '72 both make some rational points. I've had to accept all along that there were some otherwise reasonable and respectable people that voted for Trump. I can push my mind to conclude that as much as maybe 50% of his supporters fit in this category. (and that is a really difficult mental exercise for me) I will never agree with their thinking. The past 7 months and the next few will prove why their decision was flawed.
There are many millions on both sides, including me, that could wholeheartedly support an anti-establishment, anti-Washington candidate. BUT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT DONALD TRUMP. (caps for emphasis in case you're curious) One of his long lasting negative legacies (of which there will be many) will unfortunately be making it harder for the next "anti" candidate to be taken seriously. And that's unfortunate, because the next may have actually been decent.
I don't know if cut-offs=jorts or if jorts are limited to a type of garment that is factory hemmed at a short pant level. While I enjoy a good pair of cut-offs in the fashion you prescribe, I have been a little bothered by the relatively recent phenomenon of having the points of the front pockets hanging down below the pant leg. I got no problem with the length but would like to see people make the effort to remove or raise and hem the pocket.I think we can agree that jorts on a guy = lame, but on the right girl....
That's something I can get behind.

Heard it all last November. Suck it up buttercup. We're winning. This is what it feels like.
