They did found the country...with a "carve-out" for slavery. It doesn't take any sort of great insight to say that the Founders who were Southerners and slaveholders probably would have at least sympathized with the Confederacy.

I sure hope that the liberals don't outlaw ownership of Dodge Challengers, at least the V8 models. The one that drove into the crowd was a 6 cylinder. I mean they blame the gun instead of the person pulling the trigger.

You start by organizing a campaign to ban the V8s because they are too powerful. Then come for the V6s.

It's not the best analogy (a gun is designed to hit a target with a bullet, whether that be an actual target, an animal, or a person, and a car is not) but your principle is still valid.

I believe the investigations should be allowed to play out. If he is completely exonerated of all wrong doing, I'll still believe he is unfit for office and hope there is some other avenue that leads to his removal.

I've stated since day one that he would last less than 18 months (about 335 days left) and would self implode and resign.

If you had to identify a starting point, I would go with the first time he used the term fake news. The point where it was obvious to most was the still stunningly bizarre debate over the inaugural crowd size and the introduction of the term "alternative facts".
