Never said he would but since it seems we run our base as 4-2-5 then that's the lineup it will be. He will play corner against tech

I'm saying in general, I hate him being only used as a nickel. Should be used like the Honey Badger. He plays a base position then is moved inside at times. But I think he'd be an outstanding safety or Cover 2 CB.

I'm not sure if you realize it or not, but in general your diction and syntax come off as confrontational, even when you're not disagreeing with anybody.

You all like to argue or fathom points that aren't there.

One dude said that I wanted to act like my opinions mattered more than others because I did this "....." after my sentences. Smh lol

Thin at DT based on the two deep... No one talks about Picou.... We have issues at LB if a former walk on is still starting over two 4* in Bituli and Bates... guess Bates is almost a bust. I thought Austin Smith would surely be talked about in the two deep the way folks have been talking about him during camp...
Still can win 9 if QB play is strong, we stay healthy overall, and kids step up and surprise.. The only place I just don't feel comfortable for some reason is LB

Was black out drunk during the Florida and A&M game imo. Jumper more than proved himself worthy last year

Dipping sauce... it's 9:40 am 😅

Guangzhou airport

About to go to a transit hotel out in the city. Almost not worth the effort, but a shower will be nice and keeping the kids moving keeps my sanity

This time, almost 12 years ago today, I was landing in Guangzhou airport. We were there to meet my new baby daughter. She is now a beautiful 12 year old dancer, and I am the happiest man alive.

Thanks for providing an example. I didn't have time to look one up myself.

Yeah I thought that was way off base as well. Seemed like a bit of a Hanlon's Razor situation IMO.

Between him and Byrd; two of the worst talent usage decisions in Butch's tenure IMO. The third would be Evan Berry.

Posters/fans should ask the question of how many L's could have been W's with the proper usage of players in general? There will be the usual detractors on here. But a shut down CB (Byrd) on the field last season does what? A shut down, tackling machine safety and capable CB (Gaulden) does what? Having an experienced playmaking RB that can catch the ball and take it to the house on any given play in the backfield when Hurd was acting like a turd and Kamara was hurt does what? Kelly did fine, but Evan with a couple of seasons of experience would have allowed them to run excellent dual backs every game and sent Hurd packing before last season started instead of begging him to stay and lying to him about how they would adjust the O. What does that do to team unity and the W/L column?

Instead they had one as a back up slot, the other as a nickel, and the third as a back up S when the positions they should have been playing were critically needed. Nobody is saying Butch did not have the $4 mill a year right and have reasons in his mind to do what he did. But he took his arm and bent it behind his own back on something very obvious, which added to the media narrative. I'm hopeful that with the changes in the coaching staff that stuff comes to an end. There is a fine line between 10+ win seasons consistently and 6-9 wins.

What if he isn't a shut down corner? Chances are he is not. Just fan speculation says he is a shutdown corner. The guys getting paid to coach him put him on offense.

Can't wait to see Byrd torching people as a WR this season!

And sounded like him starting was a real possibility

Also clearly isn't high on Wiggins

Yeah sounds like Tatum may be the RT day 1. Also acted like Shamburger is legit pushing for starting spot opposite of Martin. Martin is locked in at one corner spot

Well he's arguably the most dangerous player on the team with the football. And we aren't starting him at safety so put him on offense and get him the ball. I think he would put up big numbers. Size, strength and speed ratio is tremendous. Sheds tackles very easily and has a mean stiff arm.

As a WR, unless Berry is a threat to actually run a route and catch a pass, anytime he lines up you are telegraphing what is about to happen.

To my knowledge he has never practiced at the position.

And truely, of what value is a decoy?

That leaves lining him up at RB and that one is simple. Is he better than those guys in front of him? Would you take Kamara off the field to sub in Berry? That answer for me is no.
