There are several reasons, one of course being the war on drugs but the other primary reason is dependence on government. If the father is present the mother can lose her section 8 housing, subsidized daycare and ext ext.

It goes back to the culture of dependence. We have to break that.

The culture of dependence argument assumes that black people don't want to work. I am not sure I buy that.

Since when does free speech=not offending anyone? Just because I don't agree or might be offended by what someone's says, doesn't negate their right to say it. But also I think it should be noted that freedom of speech pertains only to the government and their actions against citizens because of their speech. That doesn't stop citizens from disagreeing with each other. That's within their (the citizens) rights. I mean, they're also free to punch someone in the face but that doesn't stop the government from charging them with assault.

There's one in my hometown. My hometown it probably around 97% white. I spent plenty of time there as a kid because that's where my grandmother lived since she actually used it the way it's intended. But there was plenty of feckless whites living there as well. There's always going to be lazy people living off the government teat no matter the location or racial majority.

I still wish I had contacts in Germany to send me some of the Ethiopian blend I used to be able to get in the local stores.

I gladly paid $8 for a half a kilo of the stuff, but it was worth it.

It's not just one race. If anyone is paid not to work then they won't work. It's not that difficult to understand.

Leftist policies have destroyed the inner city and the minority family.

Yeah, we don't know about antifa because the media have never bothered to acknowledge them or "inform" anyone about them. Watch the network news from the last couple of days and they clearly put the blame on the demonstrators - the ones with the permit, and not the party crashers looking for violence. Antifa proudly says that violence is part of their agenda.

Agreed - they aren't a good group. Their name itself is very Orwellian; they actually use fascist tactics but from a different political persuasion. Fascists aren't on the right side of the political spectrum, and the traditional political spectrum has a lot of problems with it, but that is a conversation for another day :)

But in the media, when it comes down to which group is going to get more heat, Antifa or KKK, it is the KKK all day long. The reign of terror and violence by the KKK in the United States is well-documented and, frankly, worse than those carried out by any left-wing group.

My wife manages several section 8 and tax credit properties and that tends to be her opinion.

Now, I employ several black guys, most have been here 5+ years so I've gotten to know them pretty well. They all have at least one thing in common, none grew up in subsidized housing.

Yeah my dad use to do a jail ministry and when the prisoners would get out of jail he would give them a job rides back and forth to work.... tools and teach them a trade (brick mason) none of the black guys lasted more than three days.
