I don't care what one group's agenda is. If they have a permit and have gone through the proper channels, they should be able to hold their rally...unmolested. So for those that see it otherwise, let's break it down to the "individual".

Go out today and every day after and find those individuals, one at a time, with whom you disagree, and get up in their face. Start yelling, pushing and shoving. I suggest you start with your own family members that are on the opposite side of the political spectrum from you. Your parent, brother, sister or kids. Go ahead, have at it. Let me know how that works out for you.

I don't like either of these groups, don't support them, don't care two licks about them. And yes, BLM/Antifa is no better than the KKK and white supremacist. They both say the same thing only using different words to describe their targets. But the fact people are in favor of tearing down statues and monuments is mind blowing. Good or bad, it's what is part of our history and needs to always be told in a factual context. Good read below.

I would not be anywhere near where one of these type rallies is being held if I could help it but working near a state capitol building there is always a possibility of getting caught up in something. If I was in my 4,500 lb vehicle and had an angry mob coming at me swinging clubs and throwing rocks, stepping on the gas might be my only apparent path to survival. The progressive liberal politicians need to stop mollycoddling unlawful demonstrations and make sure that when people do this sort of thing it is done in a way that doesn't interfere with anyone else's rights. It's a complicated situation that involves big tent politics, race, power, and money, but someone has to transcend thier own self interest and be the adult here for the good of everyone.

That's not what he insinuated. He's saying that with affirmative action they will get the jobs over whites if they have the same credentials simply based on skin color. Thus, they don't have to work harder.

Put that many kooks together in the same space and this is what you get. Cops need to start water cannoning both sides as soon as they appear on the streets to avoid a catastrophe. The media wants a race war and they are well on their way to getting it.

If you think about it...BLM/Antifa, Charlottesville town council should tear down UVA itself. After all, look who the founder was....a slave owner. The Jefferson Memorial should be torn down while we are at it. Do any of the far left clowns ever wonder why Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps haven't been torn down? So history is not forgotten or REMOVED so that it provides a historically accurate context. What we are seeing in this country today in removing statues and monuments speaks more to the failure of the education system, controlled by the left, that have irreparably damaged the thought process of those that pass through.

So I think of myself as moderate. As I watch all of these clips and mini documentaries about what happened, I see group A have permits, marching, gathering. I see group B threaten, hit, mace. Then group A fights back. Some idiot jumps into his car and hits other people, who did not have a permit to assemble. These same people who have attacked, maced and threatened group A are now dumbfounded by the violence.

I'm amazed at the media and how many people are ready to accept the abolishment of the first amendment. I think the KKK are a bunch of morons but their right to speak is also the same law I will require when I want something heard. Therefore, I will not support groups that counter protest an active, lawful gathering. ANTIFA has been showing up for a war between militias for months. Attacking, harming and threatening. The KKK was inevitably going to show up in makeshift gear. This nonsense has been furthered by local governments not having the backbone to protect their, mine and YOUR first amendment rights.

Think about that y'all. If local government and police are told to stand down and they are not protecting all peoples first amendment rights, what makes you think yours will be infallible?

My prayers go out to the families of the deceased. I hope people wake up and stop being so damn dumb.

Of course though they only want one sides freedoms shut down. I wonder if any media outlets other than fox have mentioned that the other group was ANTIFA? I would assume not, I'm sure they were being classified as peaceful protests toward the nazis

Tearing down a momentum is terrorism but driving a car through a crowd and killing and injuring people isn't? Sure this is bad, but I haven't read where you called the nazi for killing a woman a terrorist. But what he did was definitely a politically and racially motivated act of terror.

Even if it was peaceful, go through the city, obtain the proper permits and hold your own. I have zero issue with that. Even if it is ANTIFA. It's their first amendment rights. ANTIFA scares me more for the future than the KKK does as long as they just assemble, burn their own **** and complain about Jews without trying to actively censor our actual culture and rights.

Personally, my definition of terrorism doesn't include the car driver or the monument people. I think the guy reacted in the moment based on his current experience with the counter protesters and did something dumb. He is a murderer now. He can get the death penalty for all I give a damn.

People that tore down the monument should also go to jail as they did not go through the proper channels and destroyed someone else's property whether it's city gov or personal.

i wouldn't call either terrorists per se but I will call them both morons with intolerant tunnel vision.

I have at least 8 known ancestors including two Great, Great, Grandpa's that fought for the South. One of my ancestors ended up fighting on both sides. Plus three or four that I've found that fought in the Revolution and it makes me mad to think there memory is being stomped on.

Get over yourself. This makes you blood boil but I haven't read where you condemned the man for killing a woman. Tearing down a monument is bad and against the law and those responsible should face jail time. But to get outraged over this and not someone's death might mean to need to check your priorities.
