Tbh, since last year, I haven't listened to much radio. I'm tired of hearing all the negative chatter. Ainge and Rice stay pretty positive considering where we are at. We do have a lot of questions this year and I understand that. However, local media saying 7 or 8 games is kinda laughable. We have talent here and it's just a wait and see. I didn't mean to come off like a dick dude. There's just not a lot of quality radio in Knoxville right now and really hasn't been for a while.
A little Twitter sleuthing led me to a "Reed's Ranch" podcast, where the host reported that Drew Richmond, Kahlil McKenzie, and one other unnamed starter are getting suspended for GT due to failed drug tests.
I was going to "like" this but then I realized that I actually hate this lol. Instead let me say, Thank you for the information. I just skip ahead in stuff like this and try to find if it's real or not. Seems about time though, we haven't lost anyone in almost a week.
If this were true major outlets would be on it. Rumors are like a snowball they bigger until the hit the end of the hill. Show me proof instead of people pecking behind a keyboard and folks with no sources except he said she said. GO VOLS!!!!
As well they should. I wasn't arguing one way or the other, just clarifying that he wasn't 'faulting' the media.Of course they would love it. Bad news is what grabs everyone's attention. Whatever is making them the $$$, they'll report it regardless if it's good or bad.
It happens at every school, not just UT.
Supposedly 247 has something out About it
Not sure what it says
