Trump Bans Transgenders in Military

No one is claiming it's "arbitrary" or anything less than "scientific" except you, based on two words you're taking out of context.

When the American Medical Association classifies addiction as a disease, I and everyone except you accept that they know more about those things than me. I don't immediately assume the AMA is controlled by left wing bias like they're MSNBC or something, and insist that it's true unless they show me their studies. And I don't think you would either, except apparently when it makes you look bad.

Yes blindly accept everything that is always the best decision in life..

I remember a day like that. Flipped my jetski on a wake after about 6 Steele Reserves (thug life!) and hit the water going like 45 mph..it sucked.

Well, this post just explain a whole lot about who and why you are...

Steele Reserve is horrendous but it was my go to drink when I was in the Chair Force. I still remember a party at my house where these girls said they could chug beers just as fast as the guys...guess what they got?

And for the record I am currently drinking a Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City Brewing in Tampa. Its not bad.

No you don't. Otherwise you wouldn't both attempt to claim this is proof trans people aren't mentally ill and that there is no need to disclose what evidence or studies lead to this change.

You are assuming that the American Psychological Association is a completely biased and compromised political entity, basically run by the Democratic Party, and that it's a fact unless other people expend the effort to prove otherwise. That is backwards as hell

The APA's main purpose is to tell kids how to write research papers in college because they realized they got psych degrees and they are worthless in the real world.

There's a difference IMO of trans and actually transitioning.

Trans, WGAF. Transitioning no, come back when you're done.

I agree. I don't have a problem at all with "trans"
people - but units need readiness. Paying for reassignment of gender isn't conducive to the mission or fair to the american taxpayer.

These people aren't born this way. The trans movement is one based on feelings, not on science. The majority of trans people are otherwise normal people who just want to be something different. Not actual hermaphroditites.

Im curious to know whether your belief applies to homosexuals as well. Do you believe it's "feelings" and that they weren't born that way?

I agree with you, unless you get a masters in Social Work, counseling etc getting a Psych degree is pretty worthless. There are exceptions, we have a few contractor employees who makes $125k plus a year with just a bachelors. Theyre W-9 employee and the majority of the money is paid by insurance.

Many are born that way. Some make a decision. The prime example is women who are looking to attract a man and therefore think being bi is helpful.

I think some are born with a tendency to like the same sex. Same way with addiction. I think some people are predisposed to becoming addicted to alcohol and /or drugs. I think some people become gay or transgender without that genetic tendency though for various motivations. Not to equate the two, but I think pedophiles have a genetic predisposition to be attracted to children as well. I think we can all agree that pedophilia is a mental disease?

Had an ex girlfriend who got a psych degree and got her masters in it and all she could do was counsel drug addicts and marriage counseling. I think she was going to get her PhD so she could run her own practice but I lost touch with her because she, oddly enough, was batsh!t crazy.

I think most people can agree some are born that way, some are created through their environment.

I currently employ a guy that has a bachelor's degree in psychology. He works for $10/hr. He has a lot of other past issues though. And to be honest, he's not worth the $10.

OK, I was just curious. I can't say I quite understand your example but it doesn't matter.

A lot of who you can do counseling for depends on what you specialize in. She most likely got lisc in marriage and Fanily plus CDIOP. She could have had her own practice without a PhD, money is based on insurance pay. Lots of Phychs take cash pay clients, regular therapist do as well.

I get the bat **** crazy part

You really don't believe some women use bisexuality as a war to attract a mate?

Sadly, I don't have enough experience with bi chicks to offer more than an anecdotal opinion of why they do what they do.

All I know is that younger me blew a an opportunity to have first hand knowledge of the intricacies but was not experienced enough to pick up the signals that were being thrown down. :glare:

Haha we have BST and PSR workers, PSR requires a bachelors and we pay $20 per hour. BST is $15 per hour. Each one has different skills

It's innate for the vast majority. I've yet to meet a gay or straight person who claimed they chose their sex of attraction.

That said, I do believe children subjected to sexual/physical abuse could see sexuality impacts along with many others.

Girls make out with other girls, but I don't know anyone who has actually said they were bisexual in order to get guys' attention. I'm surprised that's your "prime" example
