Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

JFK (with Robert as Attorney General) is the only one I can think of but his credentials were certainly stronger than Kushner's.

I would say that Mattis and Kelly are the only two appointments which seem strong to me.... and maybe Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador.

I can agree with this

Obama was chosen to run the world's largest economy with absolutely no background in economics or business. Just sayin'

You'll get crickets on this one because most of the people that voted for him have no clue about the economy either.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump - 10h

So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillary's crimes and Russia relations?

***********************************

Trump just called his own Attorney General "beleaguered" and publicly questioned his job performance. Of all the bizarre tweets he has sent, this is the most difficult to understand. Why doesn't he just fire him? Sessions has recused himself from the Russia investigation so there should be no concerns over obstruction of justice. If he doesn't think Sessions is doing an effective job, why is Sessions still the Attorney General? And why publicly challenge him anyway? What does he gain by doing that? Sessions has been loyal and campaigned very hard for Trump last year when nobody else in the Senate would. It makes no sense.

Because no one worth a damn wants to work for this bozo.

I don't recall any politician at any level practicing this much nepotism.

There was one hope that I think many of us thought he'd follow through with - getting the best to surround him.

Tillerson and Mattis were the only two hires he remotely came close with and then hamstrung Tillerson's hires through partisan fuqery. I don't know why anyone would consider joining the clown show at this point. Sessions is a beta for not telling trump to shove it, maybe Sessions needs the income?

I will agree the appointment of Kushner and Ivanka to adviser or whatever is a little strange. But let's face it, Ivanka seems to be the most level headed of the bunch, so that's a plus.

I would say that Mattis and Kelly are the only two appointments which seem strong to me.... and maybe Nikki Haley as UN Ambassador.

Tillerson wasn't a bad pick by any means. Neither was Zeinke, Chao or Shulkin. Acosta has time in the Labor Department, so plus for him. Mnuchin and Ross come from a business background, so the departments suit them though I don't know much about them. And even with as much screeching over Perry, he does have serious experience (if we use Velo Vol's definition) and ran a highly successful State.

Really, the only three Cabinet picks that everyone tends to get crazy over are DeVos, Carson and Sessions. Maybe even Perry, but overall, other than "Trump picked them!" you really have no ammunition to fire with the others.

Trump spoke to a gathering of 40,000 Boy Scouts today. So, what topics of inspiration and wisdom did he choose to bestow on these young lads? Well, he boasted of his electoral college victory; specifically his wins in Wisconsin and Michigan. He also bashed the media as "fake news" and blamed Democrats for failing to pass the Senate healthcare bill.

He probably figured that people other than the Boy Scouts would hear the speech. Don't you think?

LOL, what else is he going to talk about, all the legislation he's not getting passed?

I read where he's threatening Tom Price job now if he doesn't snap his fingers and get the ACA repealed despite not having a replacement. Awesome leadership.

Did you see it?

The Boy Scouts broke out into chants of "we love Trump! We love Trump"

LOLOL He used the BSA National Jamboree to stump. He had 40,000 boys undivided attention and instead of imparting words of encouragement and importance of character he threatened Tom Price and rambled on about fake news.

FFS, what an absolute cartoon clown. LOL

He ran against McCain, who had what experience in the above?

Remember when McCain "suspended" his campaign and tried to postpone the presidential debates because the economy was collapsing?

Fun times.

On September 24, McCain announced that he would "suspend" his campaign and seek to delay a debate with Barack Obama scheduled for September 26 so that he could work with Congress toward a reworking of and agreement on the Paulson financial rescue plan. McCain urged Obama to do the same.[317] McCain's intervention helped dissatisfied House Republicans forestall a bailout plan that was otherwise close to agreement between the White House, Senate Republicans, and Congressional Democrats.[318][319] At a bipartisan meeting at the White House on September 25 (pictured) McCain came across as unconstructive and ineffectual to Bush, who felt that McCain had forced him to hold a pointless meeting and then had said nothing at it.[320]

Two days later, McCain announced that he would resume his campaign, and he went ahead with the debate.[321] Some commentators questioned whether the campaign had ever in fact been suspended, as McCain ads continued to play, McCain spokesmen continued giving statements criticizing Obama, and McCain campaign offices remained open, while McCain himself continued to make speeches and give interviews.

All I want to know is if he had to use a TelePrompTer

Tell you what, BB. You go through Trump's entire Cabinet and Cabinet level positions, each and every one. And then you tell us why each pick was wrong or right. And legitimate reasons, not this incessant whining like Gillibrand either.

Time for you to put your money where your mouth is and explain why the picks were bad. You and others want to run your mouth about how "horrible" the Cabinet is, by all means, back your **** up with reasons.

Of course, I expect you to ignore this like you do every other hard question posed to you. That's the immaturity streak showing out in you. You want to whine and complain, but have no real answers other than "But TRUMP!"

He only needs a teleprompter when he wants to talk on a fourth grade level.

By the way, this is what you get when you let trumpo loose in front of 40,000 kids without a teleprompter.

I was also talking about White House staff.

Sure, presidents appoint people they have connections with, maybe are even friends.

But what I see here, especially with those Trump interacts with often, is that he values loyalty over everything else. Which is bound to be trouble when people are in over their heads.

Just consider the plight of poor Jeff Sessions.

Give credit where credit is due. When he's scripted, he's perfectly fine. It's his off the cuff remarks that are the 4th grade level.

I know you're smarter than this.
