Anti-Trump Hysteria and Silliness

Back on topic.

This is a good rule of thumb for all situations.

I hear Tillerson too is contemplating getting the fuq out of Dodge while the gettin' is good.

Like rats fleeing a sinking ship.

Not sure where you are getting 240 from. that's less than what the company covers. We are on a very big group plan through our HR provider.

What I am/will be paying now is close to double that, on top of my employer's contribution.

You said in post 5635 you were paying $20 per month and now several hundred. I was wondering what kind of policy you were getting for 20 bucks even with employer contributions.

While Trumpo fills his ranks with inexperienced sycophants, who bolts first Preibus or Tillerson?

Find a President that hasn't filled their ranks with inexperience sycophants. Nothing more than political donors buying their way into the WH staff positions. So don't just pick on Trump you hypocrite.

Blah blah blah.... We're talking about trump you bozo, if you want to start a thread about other presidents, feel free.

Why don't you just save us all time and begin each of your posts with a "bbbbuttt obama?"

You really bring nothing else to the table.

Trump's administration is going to continue to be a revolving door for his staff. Sessions has one foot out the door and Tillerson is getting shaky. It's becoming obvious that trump's historical legacy is going to be both sad and laughable. Honorable men and women won't want to be anchored to that for all time. Some actually care what their grand children will think of them.

Note: Trump's tweets are being archived as part of Trump's official White House communications. Imagine how ridiculous, childish and appalling they're going to look to future generations.

At this point, it's career suicide to be associated with this administration. The experiment is failing in grand fashion.

Ok sweetie, I never mentioned Obama by name because he's not the only president to do so. Get off your Trump hardon and call them all out like a man. Bbbbuuutt Trump. Like you've never blamed Bush like the rest of your brethren.

That could be the case but we've never been required by law to contribute, we do but it's never been a requirement.

Did you glance at that link? It says most insurance companies are the ones requiring it. The article goes into why.

Are you actually a Drag Queen? You're talking like one!

(Let me edit this for clarity. I like Drag Queens. I like most gay people I've met including two nieces. I'm not disparaging you with this post. Just pointing out what you sound like.)

Yes, I know why some carriers require an employer contribution. We have never been required to by our carriers.

Oh, I'd tend to think this thread is appropriate for such discussion. Falls right into the "tee hee hee, Trump sucks!" mode of thought.

However, AV does have a point that many/most previous Presidents have picked political sycophants, donors and the likes to fill positions. Hell, just look at Ambassadorships to see that extensive list. This certainly isn't Trump specific by any means and attempting to carve him out individually just shows how blatantly ignorant some can be.

AV, it's sad watching you fail so miserably at carrying trumps water. We get it you want desperately to make the "hypocrite connection", except to do so you'd have to cite where I've pardoned past presidents for at least similar poor behavior. You can't becuase I haven't.

Also, what's with this "sweetie" stuff? Are you attempting to distract from the fact you're making terrible arguments via condescension?

The thread is literally about trump, constantly trying to redirect and deflect using the "bbbuutt" argument is as tired as it is bad. Why you think it's suddenly going to get traction is beyond me - maybe it's all you've got, intellectually speaking. You seem to think doubling down is reinforcing what you feel is an excellent point, except it's really making you look silly. I like you AV, but this is starting to get a bit cringey.

Except no one argued that it wasn't something that "they all did."

It's a terrible argument UNLESS someone has or is arguing that it hasn't occurred. One can't be hypocritical unless a different view has been stated.

I'll say this - if the "bbbuuuttt" argument is the last arrow in your quiver - you've already lost, you just haven't realized it yet.

However, one of the first things some posters (not specifically you) reach for is the equal of "but, but, but TRUMP!" by pointing out things like this and completely ignoring the fact it's been going on for decades if not longer. You and I both know it and it's hypocritical to blame one without indicting them all for the same behavior. It's a non-partisan issue as far as I'm concerned and part of the problem in D.C. as a whole.

I will say if "Bbbbuuuutttt Trump!" is the first arrow in someone's quiver, they've already lost the argument as well. They don't realize it either.
