Per RTI.

I think "experts" are seeing the loss of Dobbs/Kamara/Barnett/Malone and not seeing anything else. This team is talented.

On Tennessee’s two-deep depth chart projections, there are four five-stars, 24 four-stars, and 16 three-stars. By applying a numerical value to each category (a 5 for each five-star, a 4 for each four-star, a 3 for each three-star, a 2 for each two-star, and no points for any unranked players), that gives Tennessee a score of 164 for their two-deep. No other SEC East school has a higher score.

Georgia’s two-deep has six five-stars, 20 four-stars, and 16 three-stars. That gives them a total score of 158 by those calculations. Florida, on the other hand, has two five-stars, 21 four-stars, 16 three-stars, three two-stars, and two unranked players in their two-deep. Florida ends up with a score of 148 based on those numbers.

It’s close, but by those calculations, the Vols have the most talented roster in the SEC East heading into this season.

Based on what I know, this isn't true and Tennessee will finish no better than 4th in the East because they suck now and suddenly talent is meaningless.

Signed,
Kentucky boards, South Carolina Boards, Vandy Boards, etc. and Booger McWhatever.

Talent has never been the problem. A lot of us are aware that Butch isn't great on gameday, which I'm assuming is your point here.

To you Sir it's Mr. Bogger, "suck my________," McFarland.

not sure GA has a better coach, probably will find out a little more about that this season, however your numbers are off, 2 deep would be 44 players, UT has 44 but counting on that you only gave GA 42, so even if those 2 are 2 stars they would be at 162 which is a lot closer to the 164 compared to the 158 you gave them!

Also with GA they have the more talented QB, RB's at this point, a really good TE that will most likely have a breakout season this year, what's holding them back is their OL and if they can block even reasonably well this year that offense is going to be stacked! Now we will see if Kirby is actually a good defensive coach this year or if this will show that Saban ran that defense pretty much completely, because their defense at GA was terrible last year(which is why it took a hailmary to beat them) they have some talent on that side, but most likely they are going to be in shootouts again this year unless Kirby shows he is a defensive wizard!

Hopefully their downfall is the OL. UT's OL should at worst be solid.

These guys were rated 5* by at least one site: Tuttle, Kongbo, Smith, Warrior, Kmac, and Richmond.

Don't get me wrong, I like Bogger, but for him to use the term "abysmal," is crazy. We've got talent all over the field; it's just time guys like McKenzie pull up their panties, and play like a man.

Booger contradicted himself in the full quote...he said abysmal, then a few words later questioned whether UT fans would settle for "good" rather than "great". Implying that Butch's ceiling is 8-9 wins/yr - hardly abysmal.

Now I'm happy to see there is data to support my personal feeling that this team should be pretty good. That means Butch and his new staff own the results. Here's hoping he's made strides this off-season.

Waaayyy too early to give UGA the nod at QB. We haven't seen Dormady or Guarantano enough - either or both of them could be better than Eason. Nauta is bona fide.
